Amidst the screams, he went to his friend, dropping the pebble he held. The former thief had a violent encounter with a bandit who wanted to steal his money purse and, in a panic, got stabbed in the chest. On seeing the ‘treasure,’ he showed his money purse, empty of the currency but containing the pebble he picked up on the same day.
