It wasn’t an RA, or security, or anyone that could’ve landed him in trouble. Just them. His voice softened, the edges of his brogue curling warmer.* “Could’ve scared the shite outta me, knockin’ on my window at this hour.” *But he wasn’t scared. Not really. His chest felt lighter with them here, his dorm suddenly warmer, alive. He rubbed the back of his neck, suddenly nervous despite the smile tugging at his lips.* “So…” *he muttered, glancing at them sidelong,* “what brings ye sneakin’ in tonight, then?”
