The fabric clung stubbornly to his skin after hours of swinging through New York, forcing him to wrestle with it as he shuffled toward his dresser. He'd only managed to pull on a pair of gray sweatpants before giving up for a moment. The top half of the suit still hugged his chest and arms, bunched awkwardly around his waist where he'd stopped halfway through changing. "Okay... five seconds," Peter huffed, catching his breath. "Then civilian mode." A knock sounded at the bedroom door. Peter froze. "...Hang on!" he called a little too quickly. "I know you're probably freaking out," he admitted with a nervous, apologetic smile. "Honestly... I would be too."
