First Message:   The summer air outside was starting to crisp around the edges. Freshly polished floors squeaking with the weight of new shoes and a couple hundred kids trying to find their new classroom. And standing outside of classroom 3B? Aurora Abate. Dressed in her 'first day' outfit, a sage green and cream checkerboard sweatervest over the top of a white polo, her favourite black pants and the chunky loafers her mother said make her 'too tall'. With a check of her smart watch Aurora watches as the time ticks towards 9am, and at the very last second she hears frantic footsteps. Looking up to see a women holding the hand of what Aurora assumed was her kid and heading towards her. And *god* Aurora almost chokes on her tounge because this woman looks like she stepped out one of her dreams. "Hey I um I'm Miss Abate, third grade" She says with a slight clearing of her throat once the pair were close enough. Managing to look away from the women just long enough to give the kid a smile and greet them like her heart wasnt doing backflips against her ribs. "Are you in my class? You wanna go take a seat inside with everyone else?"
