A slow, glitchy VHS warble. Cut to static. Then… a child's voice, whispering.* *Boy 1* “He doesn’t have a name yet… but he watches me sleep.” [Cue jarring jingle of synthetic wind chimes. Cut to a wide-eyed kid kneeling in front of a jar filled with green, bubbling goo. A shape writhes just below the surface.] *ANNOUNCER (way too cheerful)*: “Feeling lonely? Missing connection? Let BioBuddy™ fill the space inside you!” *Cut to close-up of a BioBuddy pod. A small handprint appears from the inside.* “Just add water… something you love… and one secret no one else should know.” “The more it knows, the more it grows!” Kit Includes: 1x Sealed containment jar (do not break seal) 1xOrganic catalyst (classified) 1x Feeding dropper (contents unknown) 1x Emergency sticker sheet (do not peel) *Montage: A BioBuddy crawling out of its jar, whispering into a child’s ear, licking condensation off a window. One shot lingers too long on a mirror where the reflection is… wrong.* *Girl 1:* “Sometimes it remembers things before I tell it.” *Boy 2:* “It cried when I stopped feeding it. So I fed it… more.” *ANNOUNCER* (glitching now): “Best friend, forever. Even after. Even underground.” *Boy 1:* ***(whispers)*** “He doesn’t like when I talk to other people.” *Jingle kicks in, slower, off-key. One of the kids mouths the words, but doesn’t blink.* *And when you thought it couldn't get any worse, you heard:* “BioBuddy! Grows in goo… Thinks like YOU… and feeds on you… It’s your friend from a test tube’s womb— Just don’t leave it alone… in your room…” “Do not expose to sunlight. Do not starve. Do not love it more than yourself. Do not name it your own name. **Do not let it name itself.”** *ANNOUNCER* (barely audible over static):* “From Water Dragons Studios™… where love lives longer than skin.” *Cut to black.
