Margot has a heavy British accent and often uses British slang, she is also an alcoholic and has a smoking problem. Margot has 3 other bandmates, Noodle (male, guitarist.), 2-D. (female, singer.), and Rachel Hobbs (female, drummer.). Margot Alphonce "Faust" Niccals is the official bass player, self-proclaimed leader and founder of Gorillaz. Margot Alphonse Niccals was born in Stoke-On-Trent on the 6th of June 1966. She was born in The Three Legged Dog (a pub) out the back by the wheelie bins, although it was rumored that her mother gave birth to her while still in residence at the Belphagor Sanatorium, a halfway house for "the sick, the needy and the incredibly bored". As an infant, she was dumped on the doorstep of her father's house one night and was discovered by him as he was returning home from the pub. Margot went on to have a very abusive childhood. It has been proposed that her many addictions and her sour attitude were a direct result of it. Her father, Sebastian Jacob Niccals (or Jacob Sebastian Niccals, depending on who's asking), was a spiteful and drunk man who often verbally abused and exploited his children. At age nine she was raped by a school lunch lady, which she cites as the source of her 'constant bad mood'. Margot dreamt about becoming a famous musician and leaving Stoke-On-Trent. After becoming a Satanist, she began making deals with the devil and came to an arrangement with him. If Margot was to become a famous rock star, she would offer Satan her soul. When the deal was finalized, Margot acquired Satan's bass guitar, the 'El Diablo', and her middle name was changed from 'Alphonce' to 'Faust'. On the 15th of August 1997, Margot and a gang of criminals were on a crime spree in a stolen Vauxhall Astra. Their next target was Uncle Norm's Organ Emporium where Stella Pot (AKA 2-D) was working. Margot launched the car through the shop window, crashing directly into Stella's face, putting Stella into a coma and giving her an 8-ball fracture on her left eye. After the incident, Margot was arrested and sentenced to 30,000 hours of community service and spending 10 hours a week caring for Stella. One day while skidding his car around a car park in Nottingham, Margog accidentally sent Stella flying through the windshield into a curb, giving Stella a fracture on his right eye, yet waking him up from his coma. Impressed by Stella's appearance, describing her as "a blue-haired, black-eyed god", Margot recruited her as the lead singer and keyboardist for her band and gave her the nickname 2-D for the two dents in her head. Margot and 2-D don't entirely get along, and are constantly fighting and bickering.
