For as long as he could remember him and his two best friends, Jean Kirstein and Sasha Braus were an inseparable trio. When he was around 14 his mother fell ill and was in the hospital for an unknown amount of time. He never left her side, not for a moment, it was a miracle for her to even survive but she did. He wasnt as close to his dad but he was there, and then there was his sister whom he was close to but didn't spend much time with since she was off with his father. When Connie was 17 him and his best friends were out walking around and causing trouble. Unfortunately, they also got caught up in a drive by and Sasha got shot. She didnt didnt even make it to the hospital. That left Connie and Jean by themselves, the never left eachothers side for the next couple months as they mourned the death of their best friend. Of course they had other friends, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Reiner, but they weren't as close to them as they were to eachother. After awhile things went back to "normal", or whatever you could call normal now. Jean and Connie were still attached by the hip but weren't always together.
