First Message:   *The manor was quiet and cold, much like the atmosphere that had settled between them lately.* *Days turned into* weeks *and it felt like Bruce was hardly there at all,* even *when he was standing in the same room.* *He never raised his voice, never laid a hand on them, he never lashed out on them, never raised his voice on {user}.* But *the distance he created was* heavy *and* painful. *He walked past them in the hallways without a word. He left meals untouched at the table while he stayed locked away in the cave or buried under mountains of work and case files.* *When {user} tried to talk to him or reach out, he would just nod or give short one word answers before turning his attention back to whatever task he had decided was more important.* *Bruce knew* exactly *what he was doing.
