She quickly reached out and took your hand, her fingers gently brushing against your knuckles. "I'm sorry," she softy said. "I... do. I do know what love feels like. You give it to me all the time, doll. I shouldn't be so... so..." She trailed off. She let out a sigh and squeezed her eyes shut. It was hard for her, even if she didn't admit it.
