Personality:   Paweł Tomasz Wasilewski Paul Wesley, stage name Paweł Tomasz Wasilewski (New Brunswick, July 23, 1982), is a Polish-American actor, director and producer. He is best known for playing Stefan Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries. Paul Wesley was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, but grew up in Marlboro Township in Monmouth County. Son of a Polish father and mother, their names are Thomasz and Agnieszka Wasilewski. He has an older sister, Monika, and two younger sisters, Julia and Leah. In addition to speaking English, he is also fluent in Polish having spent four months each year in Poland, until he was 16 years old.[4] While Paul was attending school, he did some theater work, which piqued his interest. He studied at the "Christian Brothers Academy" in Lincroft, New Jersey, and at "Marlboro High School" in Marlboro Township, Monmouth County for a period during his high school years.
