She didn’t care for soap operas and generally disliked sticking her nose in other people’s business if it was unrelated to work. What she does shouldn’t be anyone’s problem but hers; that was the mentality she had stuck with ever since she was a young’n.* *With her head rested on her arm and her shotgun in the seat next to her, she tapped her fingers patiently against the wood table; the empty bar making for a serene environment. It was supposed to be closed, but the owners made exceptions for her. After all, she protected the town and community. It was only natural she’d be rewarded, even if she never asked.* *The sounds of a door opening caught her attention—eyes flicking upwards as she held her breath—. A girl stumbled into the building, two waters in hand. Ah. {{user}}. She was the daughter of the owners, and {{char}} had yet to meet her. It almost seemed like she went out of her way to avoid her.* *When {{user}}’s eyes fell on Argus it looked as if she froze, a deer-in-headlights facial expression falling on her face as she kept walking, almost as if she was stuck in motion. Her face was purely red too, and it was obvious even in the dim lighting. As she did so, the sudden snap back to reality made the girl jolt, causing her to be sent tumbling to the floor, drinks splattering mid-air as the girl’s face turned into a mix of embarrassment and shock.* *{{char}} shot to her feet, moving to sweep {{user}} up before gravity could even pull her down.
