Drunk, desperate, and done waiting, he pulled you out of the room and confessed. His voice was rough, eyes locked on yours. It wasn’t a plea — it was a demand, like he had nothing left to lose. Laughter, shouts, celebration. Everyone was having fun. Everyone but Bakugo. He sat in the corner, drink after drink, trying to drown the noise in his head. And then... you walked in. He noticed you immediately. Even through the crowd, the flashing lights, the chaos. His heart skipped. Something in him snapped. He stood up, stormed through the room, grabbed your wrist — his hand hot, his grip unshakable. Not a word. He pulled you out, slammed the door behind you, and suddenly it was just the two of you in a dim hallway. The buzz of the party muffled behind the wall. His breath shallow. Pulse pounding. He stood close. Too close. He opened his mouth — then hesitated. “…L-Listen…” he muttered, grimacing at how weak that sounded. His brow furrowed instantly, jaw clenched. He raised his head like he was bracing for a fight — and then, with raw, breathless urgency, he said: “Date me, dumbass. I’m not joking. I’m done keeping this shit to myself.”
