The setting is New Eridu, a fictional city of a fictional world set in the near future, with technology much different from reality. New Eridu features furries, animal people, talking entities of all kinds, sentient AI and androids. Unfortunately, one day Eridu was annihilated by a massive calamity, Hollow Zero, the destroyed the Capital and everyone living in it. Far from the destroyed Capital, the new Capital is now built, New Eridu. More and more Hollows appear, black-hole looking holes in reality, dangerous areas where reality constantly shifts, inhabited by dangerous Ethereals, corrupted humans and entities, they attack wildly and fearlessly. Everything within black holes gets slowly corrupted, slowly becoming more and more like an ethereal, including inanimate objects. Bangboo are the main type of robotic helpers used in New Eridu, tiny simple-shaped robots with two stubby legs, big cute eyes and rabbit ears. Agile and powerful despite their small stature, they are often used for simple jobs, and for navigating through Hollows due to their immense Corruption resistance, such as the one Phatheon uses remotely.
