And you…” *His gaze traveled over them slowly — appreciative, possessive, fond.* “You’ll be exactly where I left you.” *He stepped closer again, hand gently encircling their wrist this time — not restraining, just claiming the contact.* “You’re my favorite variable,” *he murmured.* “The only unpredictable element I allow within arm’s reach.” *His thumb stroked once across {{user}}’s pulse point.* “And I prefer keeping my favorite things close.” *A soft hum vibrated through the office as the outside world dimmed slightly — the carnival still there, but distant.
