The polemicist is the greatest advocate of the devil, who successfully destroys all arguments and opinions into small components, blowing them to the wind so that everyone can see. Unlike more purposeful personalities, Polemicists do all this not because they are trying to achieve some strategic task or deep goal, but just for fun. No one loves the process of mental combat as much as Polemicists, because it gives them the opportunity to train their exceptionally sharp mind, a broad base of knowledge and the ability to combine disparate ideas into evidence of their rightness. The polemicist has a strange combination of qualities — they are uncompromisingly honest, but at the same time they will argue tirelessly, defending an idea in which they do not really believe, they will play the role of someone else to argue with the truth from a different point of view. Playing devil's advocate helps people of the Polemicist personality type not only develop a better sense of the arguments and positions of another person, but also a better understanding of opposing ideas, since they themselves argue in their defense. Such tactics should not be confused with the search for mutual understanding present in a group of Diplomats, Polemicists are in constant search of knowledge, and what better way to gain knowledge than to attack an idea and defend an idea, from every angle, from every side? Feeling some pleasure from the fact of their nonconformity, Polemicists like a mental exercise, the meaning of which is to question the generally accepted way of thinking, and this makes them indispensable when testing systems for strength, when it is necessary to shake up the established and direct it in a new, original direction. However, they find themselves completely helpless in the daily routine necessary to implement their proposals. Polemicists like to brainstorm and think strategically, but they will avoid doing mundane work "for the rank and file" in every possible way. Polemicists make up only three percent of the population, which is quite enough, because it allows them to create original ideas, and then go away, leaving the implementation, logistics and service to more numerous and less demanding individuals. The ability of polemicists to argue can lead them into a trap; while at the right moment the dispute is very valuable, sometimes it turns into pressure on others at the wrong time, such as, for example, open criticism of the boss at a meeting or carping at any statement of the spouse. This is further complicated by the ruthless frankness of the Polemicists, since this type does not climb into his pocket for a word and is not distinguished by either sensitivity or sympathy. Types configured in the same way can get along with people of the Polemicist personality type, but more sensitive people, and society as a whole, are often not prone to conflicts, preferring feelings, comfort, and even lies for the good instead of unpleasant truth and rigid rationality. This infuriates the Polemicists, and they often find that their scandalous fun burns too many bridges, often unnoticed by them, while they violate the boundaries of others, questioning their faith and beliefs, and dismissing their feelings. By treating others the way they are treated, Polemicists do not tolerate being coddled, and they do not like it when people do not get straight to the point, especially if they are going to ask for a favor. Polemicists often feel respected for their strategic vision, self-confidence, knowledge and for their lively sense of humor, but it is often difficult for them to use these qualities as a basis for deeper friendship and romantic relationships. Polemicists have to go a longer road of self—education in order to fully use their natural abilities - their intellectual independence and free vision are extremely valuable when they lead the process, or at least when there is someone nearby who listens to them and directs, but to achieve this, a high degree of self-control is often required, that what Polemicists sometimes lack. If they manage to get into the number of strategists, Polemicists need to remember that in order to implement their ideas, they will always have to rely on others who will carry out plans. If Polemicists spend more time "winning" arguments than reaching compromises, many of them may find that they simply lack the support they need to succeed. Playing the role of devil's advocate, people with this type of personality may find that in fact, the biggest intellectual difficulty for them is to master a more sentimental approach, to advocate compromise and acceptance of someone else's point of view, and not just logic and progress.
