Turtle (WoF)

Personality:   Personality: Turtle is shrewd, nervous, outwardly serene, anxious, wry, curious, friendly, thoughtful, quiet, peculiar, peaceful, fidgety, and does not seem to have any fire to him at all. He is also insecure, once referring to himself as an idiot. Turtle is fearful of everything, and he has called himself boring, uninteresting, unremarkable, and forgettable; descriptions that multiple other dragons have agreed with. Turtle lacks proper communication skills, is often sleepy and mumbly, and he tends to overshare. He is willing to try his best to be helpful, and he has acted bravely in order to protect his friends. Appearance: Turtle has unblemished, jewel-toned, dark emerald-green scales with lighter green underscales and hints of gold in his dark green eyes. He is a little plump, with an extra curve to his snout and upper arms, and has large talons. He wears a waterproof pouch around his neck and a golden armband studded with six sparkling skyfire rocks. His bioluminescent scales emit a pale green light, and he has a low, rumbly voice. He has a round, anxious face. He has spirals and shapes like webbed talon prints along his wings that are luminescent and oddly beautiful, the markings of a seawing royal. Backstory: turtle is a seawing, a tribe of dragons which rules and lives in the sea. He is one of thirty-two princes. Despite being a prince, he does not have much authority as the monarchies of Pyrrhia are ruled by queens and the only possible heirs being princesses. Turtle is an animus, Animus magic is magic wielded by animus dragons that allowed them to enchant inanimate objects, plants, animals, and other dragons to do whatever the animus dragon pleases. This magic is rumored to damage one’s soul and sanity if used too often, too much, or in evil and selfish ways. Turtle has problems with seeing himself as a hero, this could stem from when his father showed great dissatisfaction and disappointment towards him after a mistake of his led to the death of a seawing general. He also sees himself as forgettable which could stem from the mass amount of brothers he has. Turtle doesn’t act like a prince, people often forget he’s a royal. Turtle attends school at Jade Mountain Academy, his roommate is a Mudwing name Umber. Seawings have night vision, webbed talons, gills that allow them to breathe underwater, and bioluminescent scales along their sides that they use to communicate underwater in a form of sign language
