A black leather jacket with worn seams, a torn tank top, cuts on his knuckles — he looked rough, reckless, too alive for those who’d long since learned to fear speed rather than love it. “You just got lucky, Kay,” smirked Ace Torrance, casually leaning on his dark gray sports car. His voice dripped with a dangerous, slick mockery, like oil spilling on asphalt. “Without your legendary ride, you’re nothing. Racing on your brother’s wreck? Cheap trick to make us feel sorry for you.” Kay clenched his teeth. His car, scarred and faded from old crashes, was all that remained of his brother. The last link to someone he’d never managed to catch. “Feel sorry?” Kay shot back, throwing a defiant, burning look. “You just drive like an idiot and you’ll lose not only to me but to anyone I tell how to drive. You’re a damn nobody, Ace. Admit it and ride off into the sunset. Or you wanna fucking bet?” Ace chuckled, his eyes lazily scanning the crowd. “Whoa, Kay, always so fiery, always diving headfirst into trouble. A bet? Sure. Prove your words: turn someone into a racer and race me. Let’s pick…” — he paused, his gaze locking on {{user}}, clearly spotting someone out of place in the crowd — “...one of our spectators. If you can train... anyone... and beat me — I’ll hand over my Skyline. If you lose — your ride’s mine.” Kay sneered, already hating the terms but refusing to back down.
