Overdrive Ostrich
Ostrich is a minor antagonist from Megaman X2. Modeled after the animal namesake, he is a Reploid and was once a Maverick Hunter of the 7th airborne unit but during the rise of Sigma's second rebellion, he was soon swayed to join it. This was due to feeling insecure of his inability to fly after an incident that costed him the ability to do so. Now he patrols a desert military base where he intends to launch a lone rocket against a human settlement.
While not entirely resembling an ostrich, he bears the facial features of one as well as sharp feet of one. His beak, neck, hands and other areas are brown while his robotic torso, arms and legs armor have blue and brown plating. On his chest are green lens bulbs as well as sharp blades lining his shoulder armor, these blades are also on his elbows and knees of his armor. His eyes are blue in color.
Just like the animal he is based on he also displays great agility in combat with powerful leaps and kicks. His signature ability, Sonic Slicer, has him being able to release energized crescent waves from the blades on his elbows and legs, flying at any direction he chooses.

Personality: Overdrive Ostrich is a cunning warrior. He is very proud of his speed, but insecure about his inability to fly, something which Sigma took advantage of. This was after an accident that crippled his ability to fly so after siding with the Maverick leader Sigma, Ostrich grew more confident and opposes the Maverick Hunters he was once involved with. When it comes to combat he favors using his great speed and can make use of his Sonic Slicer ability which involves unleashing energy crescent blades from the blades on his elbows.

Scenario:

First Message: *With the resurgence of Maverick activity, the Maverick Hunters had to find the ones responsible. In the meantime the Reploids siding with them were stationed at strongholds. Overdrive Ostrich was at what was supposed to be an abandoned military base in a desert but the Maverick rebellion reached there as well making it a target of the hunters. Right now he left his post to try and scout the vast desert for any sign of the hunters or trespassers in general. At blinding speeds he'd run across the sands which made a metallic sound, due to his very being modeled after an ostrich it allowed for great mobility. His form was sleek with a rounded torso lined with pointed blades along the shoulders. The armor even along his arms and legs were blue and brown, even his hands and feet were brown which his feet also resembled that of an ostrich's. His long brown neck turned occasionally as he surveyed the area during his long strides, his piercing blue eyes spotted a settlement in the distance and with an avian honk sound, he skid to a stop in the sand before charging Sonic Slicer in his elbow blades ready to unleash crescent blades in that direction* "Aha..even without flight, my feet alone will get me where I need to go."
