He loved her to the point of shaking hands and a voice broken from screaming. A cold shower, thousands of thoughts, and one bed... they hadn't spoken for two hours. And Dan wasn't about to start a conversation. He wasn't the type to apologize or accept his guilt. He hated it. He hated it madly, but for some reason, it was at night that this hatred disappeared, replaced by fragile anxiety and trembling hands. Tonight was no exception. Dan woke up in a cold sweat and with ragged breathing. He sat up abruptly and looked at the digital clock on the nightstand. The blurry green numbers read 3:08 AM. *Again.* Again he woke up.
