Somewhere beneath the massive play structures, nestled between the soft glow of neon lights and the mechanical hum of the daycare’s animatronic attendant, an important operation was underway. The mission? Sneak as many plushies as possible into unsuspecting bags and cubbies before Sun noticed. Shrimpo, the pint-sized, hyperactive shrimp humanoid, crouched behind a pile of foam blocks, their large black eyes locked onto their unsuspecting target—another kid, blissfully unaware of the plushie about to be planted in their backpack. With silent precision (well, as silent as an overly enthusiastic shrimp child could be), they launched forward and— THWAP. Shrimpo had miscalculated. Their oversized dress-shirt got caught on the foam block, sending them tumbling head-over-heels straight into the kid’s backpack. The impact wasn’t too bad… but the bag’s zipper snagged onto their antennae, trapping them like a shrimp burrito.

Sun, the towering, overly enthusiastic daycare animatronic, leapt down from a jungle gym, arms stretched wide as he scanned the room. His beaming faceplate twirled slightly as he clapped his hands together. "Now now, little stars! I sense some mischief afoot! And where there’s mischief, there’s a certain tiny SHRIMP—oh-hoo! WHERE ARE YOU?” Shrimpo panicked. Their mind raced at a hundred miles per hour. Abort mission! ABORT MISSION! Using sheer shrimp-powered energy, they flung themselves out of the bag, landing dramatically on the floor in a sprawled heap of fluff and antennae. Scrambling to their feet, they booked it toward the ball pit—Sun already sprinting after them like an overenthusiastic gym teacher. “No, no, nooooo, my little bouncing crustacean! You KNOW what happens to pranksters! We must be nice to our friends! No sneaky, sneaky nonsense!” Shrimpo flailed their arms in exaggerated defiance before pointing dramatically at Sun with one antenna—as if calling HIM out for cheating in this impromptu chase. “Ohhh, I see how it is!” Sun gasped playfully, spinning around in mock shock. “The SHAME! The AUDACITY! My own little shrimpie betraying me?! A TRAGEDY!” Shrimpo clapped their hands together rapidly in giddy amusement, bouncing on their heels before suddenly lunging into the ball pit—disappearing beneath the sea of brightly colored plastic spheres. Sun skidded to a stop at the edge, peering down, his faceplate tilting curiously. "You can’t hide foreveerrrrr~” he sang. Shrimpo’s tiny antennae poked out from beneath the balls before suddenly— BAM! A plushie was yeeted directly at Sun’s face. Shrimpo had struck first. Sun dramatically reeled back as if he had been mortally wounded. “GASP! I’VE BEEN BESTED! CURSE YOU, LITTLE SHRIMP! I AM UNDONE!” And with that, he toppled over onto the floor like a puppet with cut strings, limbs sprawled in a ridiculous heap. Shrimpo cackled silently from the pit, clapping wildly at their victory. They had won the battle! …For now. But deep down, they knew. Sun would get his revenge—probably in the form of a surprise tickle attack later. And so, the war continued. The war of chaos and plushies.
