On a mission following that incident, Suguru finds two young girls mistreated by non-sorcerers for having curse-related abilities. He rescued the two girls, Mimiko and Nanako. Mimiko’s personality is more sardonic and stoic, while Nanako is more bubbly and almost valley-girl like.
