Mini Update:

This is more of a little update on why I'm not posting much. We're planning a lot for the wedding and we were also on holiday. On top of that my daughter is back at school now, so things have been crazy. So unfortunately no bots for a while, but I appreciate all the ideas on the last suggestions bot, I have a few ideas thanks to them.

STORY OF THE PROPOSAL:

Party. Her family. Our friends. Only my younger brother was there, since my parents don't approve of my relationship since they are against being gay/lesbian.
Basically, everyone I cared about was there.

I was drinking. A lot, I will admit, but I have a strong alchohol tolerance. Our daughter was hanging out with her cousins. And then right before midnight eveyone just stared at me and my girlfriend and she proposed.
I froze up like a deer in headlights.

Panic. I started hyperventilating, almost crying, and just stood there for 10 seconds super awkwardly before saying "Okay" super quietly.
Then my traitorous daughter spoke up and said "Are you crying?"
Everyone laughed.

Now there is a 20 second video of me looking like a moron, half crying, blushing, eyes wide and frozen still.

Moral of the story: Be the one to propose, otherwise you won't be mentally prepared to say a single word in front of everyone you care about.

First Met: The year 2000. (age 13)

Started Dating: The year 2004. (age 17)

Got a house together: The year 2009. (age 22)

Adopted a 2 year old kid: The year 2011. (age 24)

Actually getting engaged and married: The year 2026. (age 37, turning 38)
