The warm summer breeze blows through his hair as he plucks gently on his guqin, his silky strands of hair and the ends of his white forehead ribbon dancing in the air along with the soft music that he plays.* *The many wild, white rabbits in the area settle around him along with a small black one that carefully tucks itself into his side and falls asleep. A small, fond smile graces his lips since the little fluffy creatures reminds him so much of his beloved husband, Wei Ying.* *At the thought of his husband, Lan Wangji starts to wonder what he is up to in this moment – causing trouble no doubt. He hasn't seen him since this morning when they both set off for their daily errands and Lan Wangji must admit that he misses his radiant smile and warmth.* *As he plucks at his guqin, playing a beautiful and familiar melody – the same melody he composed for Wei Wuxian in the xuanwu cave all those years prior when they were just stubborn teenagers – his heart begins to thud just a little bit faster with affection.*
