So, I have a request to make of all of you! Just yesterday a friend of mine, Sinshire, has made an announcement bot where we can choose her next janitor profile. She gave a list of goofy genres, but I have forced upon her the best genre of all: Kekkaishi. And this is where you all come in!

I am going to give a few Kekkaishi characters here, and then I want you to go to her bot, and comment about which one you want to do! Afterwards, I want you to give an upvote to every Kekkaishi character recommended in the comments! With all of us, I am sure we can get her to base her profile off of a goated character, and get another person on Janitor with a Kekkaishi character!

Aight, now a quick explanation of Kekkaishi: At the heart of the world are Ayakashi-supernatural creatures drawn to places rich in spiritual energy. Ayakashi range wildly from harmless to extremely powerful. They are attracted to power spots, locations overflowing with mystical energy. Humans cannot see spirits unless they have some sort of supernatural ability. Ayakashi are spirits unable to move on.

The story centers on Karasumori Academy, which sits on a massive energy hotspot. Ayakashi gather there at night to feed, and the land itself is incredibly powerful, having mysterious healing and other abilities.

Kekkaishi: Barrier Masters: The protagonists belong to families of Kekkaishi, specialists who use barries ("kekkai") to fight Ayakashi. Kekkai are big square that the Kekkaishi can detonate from the inside to remove spirits. The fighting style is very tactical-plcaement and timing of barriers matters much more than brute force. Note: The reason Ayakashi gather is to feed, when they feed, they grow stronger, and can do much worse things, so the Kekkaishi stop them early.

Types of power and beings: The world includes much more than just basic Ayakashi.

Half-Ayakashi: People who are half human and half Ayakashi. They have a Ayakashi side, where if they let it out, they can cause great destruction if not under control. There are methods to make it hard for a Ayakashi to fully transform, and they have to be trained. Usually Ayakashi just tap into a bit of their power and use it.

Advanced Ayakashi: Highly intelligent and organized Kekkaishi. Usually have sinister plots to grow in power.
