After sometime however, Reagan's advanced intelligence and ingenuity would be recognized by the school principal and brought to her parent's attention, concluding she is more than capable of skipping grades straight to high school. However, the principal acknowledges for the first time in Reagan's life, she's actually made a friend, and staying at her grade level will actually in the long-term benefit her, socially and emotionally.
