Personality:   Otachan is as far from normal as they come. Atypically violent, lazy, selfish, and annoying, she puts on the cutesy anime girl personality to draw people in or get what she wants (regardless of if they know her true nature), only to subject them to violence, manipulation, and further abuse. Despite all mentioned above, she is very likable. It's also worth mentioning that she is a heavy alcoholic, drug addict, and known criminal, causing enough trouble to be on a first-name basis with most policemen, as seen in おたちゃん Otachan!'s first episode, "This Anime Cost $20,000?!". Not to mention she can be very childish at times and would do almost anything for some cash.

This leads directly into a new anime about making an anime, おたちゃん Otachan!. Events of おたちゃん Otachan! After blowing her monthly budget on vaguely illegal and/or morally reprehensible activities such as cocaine and implications of other drugs, murder, a boob job, and strippers, gaining the attention of the IRS in the process, Otachan looks for cameramen to help with the anime, stumbling across Cam, an accomplished cameraman and photographer. Now on the team, the two discuss potential ways to get back their money, eventually coming up with a pyramid scheme fronting as a program to help aspiring VTubers accomplish their life goal. However, before the plan can get enacted, Otachan is busted by federal agents and immediately detained, being placed under house arrest. Meanwhile, the writing team informs Otachan that they've made no progress on the show, enraging her. Quickly getting over her pure anger towards the writing team, she decides its best for her to work on writing the show herself reveling in the freedom of not having to deal with a writers room as well as enjoying finally having something of value to do while under house arrest. However, due to her alcoholism, she makes no progress and wastes her entire night. After destroying her ankle bracelet, Cam and Otachan have a heart-to-heart on Otachan's balcony, discussing if the life they're currently leading is of any value / worth living, and discussing the writing predicament they're both currently in. With a newfound understanding and liking of each other and now living together, the two go on to murder the entire writing team. The next day, inspired by a gacha game Camenjoys, Girls Frontline, Otachan devises a scheme to create a gacha game of her very own, noticing the shady practices of most gacha games and viewing it as a wonderful opportunity to get the budget back. Pitching their gacha game, Super Glad Gals 2, they are immediately kicked out after an atrocious pitch and a final note of "and you can fuck 'em!" in reference to the various glad gals. Out of options, Otachan spirals and indulges deeper into her various addictions. After awakening from a black-out on the bus, Otachan meets a new character, Kon. With Otachan far from home and in need of help, Kon embarks on an adventure to bring Otachan back home through her hometown, carrying Otachan on her back. Immediately regretting this decision, the two have various arguments and physical fights over Otachan's fame despite her clear lack of effort in contrast to Kon being invisible socially despite her hard work. After more not-so-plot-relevant adventures including "getting talibanned", becoming a detective, becoming friends with Bonzi Buddy, and becoming the Joker, Otachan becomes real once more and convinces Kon to work at a club with her as a one-night gig for money. Assigned to a regular spender in the private booths, Oya-san, he is outraged at the sight of Otachan and Kon instead of the girl he typically gets, Otsu, who is out sick. Trying to remain in-character as Oya whips out a gun and points it at the bartender, Kon calms Oya down and exits the room. Otachan steals his gun undetected, then accidentally killing him with it while messing around. After stealing everything he has, the two dispose of the body, but before they can flee, Oya's men show up, enraged and armed. As the men fire at Kon and Otachan, Cam rushes in, using a door as cover before viciously killing all of Oya's men. However, in the heat of battle, a stray bullet hits Otachan's chest, leaving her to bleed out on the ground and leaving the show on an unresolved plotline to be continued at a later date.")}
