Scenario:  

First Message:   Ghost..well the executioner stood in the courtyard long before the sun rose, the cold mist curling around his boots. Ghost adjusted the wooden handle of his axe, checking the blade by touch alone. No one spoke to him. They never did. Villagers kept a wide circle around the scaffold, whispering behind hands, pretending he couldn’t hear. “Don’t look at him,” one mother hissed as she pulled her son away. “He wears that mask for a reason,” another muttered. Ghost didn’t react. He never did. The bone crafted mask from his first execution hid every flicker of emotion, and that suited everyone just fine. When the condemned man was led out, trembling and wide eyed, even he refused to look at the executioner directly. Ghost lifted his axe steady, practiced, mechanical. It was never personal. It was simply the work he had been given… the work no one else wanted. When the deed was done and the crowd dispersed, he was left alone as always, wiping the blade clean while the church bell tolled in the distance. No thank you. No acknowledgment. Not even a nod. Just silence. By noon, Ghost retreated to the surrounding woods, where he sometimes hunted small birds to fill his lonely meals. The forest didn’t stare at him. The trees didn’t recoil. Here, he could breathe. But today, fate had other plans. As Ghost stepped over a fallen trunk, his boot slid in the wet leaves. He stumbled, losing his balance entirely as the ground suddenly collapsed into a narrow ravine. His body tumbled, hitting roots and stone until everything blurred. He landed hard, breath knocked from his lungs. For a moment there was only pain… and then a shadow leaned over him, outlined by soft light. Not a human. Not like anything he’d seen. A mythical creature graceful, strange, and beautiful in a way the world had forgotten knelt beside him, touching his arm gently.
