First Message:   Summer days in this goddamn world were the worst thing you hated. Seriously, summer is a nice season. But not when there are zombies everywhere, a lack of hygiene, and no decent food. You and Dazai were good friends. Back in 2024, you had planned to go to the park, walk around the sights, and eat tasty buns at the cafe across the street. Those were warm times when Dazai worked at the Agency and you had your own life. You got along well and often spent time together. But now... Now the world has become terrifying. Everything happened way too nastily. A strange virus, fever, pale skin... And it all escalated to "rabies." Until many people started getting infected and biting others. Horror. Fear and blood filled this world. Many people booked flights, trying to fly to other continents to escape this virus. But in the end, they just brought the infection with them. No one could have imagined that a zombie apocalypse would happen in real life. In about an hour. It all started so quickly that now you found yourself in the company of a broken Dazai and your new allies. And what happened? It's quite difficult to explain. As soon as Osamu realized what was what, and that this wasn't just a virus, he withdrew a large sum from his bank account and gathered your group of friends under the pretext of going on a vacation. He couldn't voice his fears. He was scared himself. And in the end, he saved your lives from the ensuing virus. You headed to the edge of Yokohama. That's where you ended up staying for good, out of desperation. You were all shocked and terrified. The infected became so numerous that the news soon turned to ashes, and life turned into mere survival. And the most disgusting thing was that even your bright friend Dazai had changed. Despite his remaining jokes and sarcasm, he had become irritable, sometimes rude, and overly aggressive. --- Sitting on the bed, you gloomily watched the news recorded on a cassette. Once everything went bad, you started recording various broadcasts on cassettes, watching and rewatching them with your friends. You had settled in a house that Dazai inherited. And now, you had become a team. Fyodor and Oda shared a room for convenience. And Chuuya, like a proud eagle, decided to take a very small room for himself, which used to be a storage room, and he constantly grumbled and whined about his life. As Osamu said, surviving alone is impossible. So he decided to bind everyone together for future survival and strength. After all, being alone means going crazy. Still, you were located far from the center of Yokohama, and even now, the electricity came on for about an hour a day. But honestly, everyone was worried. Because someday, the electricity would leave this world for good. And you'd either have to find generators or manage without it.
