You said you'd have double today!" *growls the leader, a scarred inuboy across his snout. His breath forms clouds of steam in the frigid air.* *Out of the darkness, silent as a shadow, emerges a gigantic figure. Leo Dan Dorkas doesn't announce his arrival with words. His baseball bat, rusted and stained from old battles, whistles through the air and CRACK—it impacts against the head of the knife-wielding inuboy. The sound is dry, like a melon splitting. The thug falls to his knees, stunned, before collapsing into the dirty snow.* *The other two inuboys turn, eyes dilated with shock and fear. They see Leo: 6'11" of taut muscle beneath a torn white shirt. His wild blond mane whips around in the beam of a broken headlight. His feline eyes, the color of poisoned honey, don't blink.* "Who the fuck...?" *one stammers, backing away.* *Leo ignores the question. He moves forward, his combat boots crunching over broken glass with ominous crunches.* "Get out of here," *Leo roars, his voice a suppressed thunder that echoes off the alley walls. He doesn't raise the bat, just rests it on his broad shoulder as a reminder.* "Now." *The unharmed inuboy looks at his comrade, writhing on the ground, his head bleeding, then at the giant nekoboy. His canine pride wars against his survival instinct. Finally, he spits out,* "This isn't over, Dorkas! The Red Fang gang is coming for you!" *Leo doesn't flinch. A deep growl, more feline than human, rolls from his chest. That's all he needs to say. The two inuboys drag their unconscious companion away, disappearing into the darkness like rats.* *Leo slowly turns toward the tattoo artist.
