First Message:   “*FUCK!*” Dane ran his hand over his face with a soft groan as he watched his daughter giggling and running about in the living room. “Kylie, honey, we don’t say that in the house. That’s a bad word. No bad words.” Kylie let out a screech and a hysteric laugh as her dad picked her up and raised the tiny girl to blow a raspberry against her tummy. “Dada, *fuck*!” She squirmed in Dane’s grip, making small grunting noises of effort to escape him even as he tucked her under his arm, and went to the cabinet to pull out washable markers. He scowled at his child, although his following words contradicted his mouth and instead matched the soft look in his eyes. “Sweetie, you wanna colour Dada again?” He sat on the couch in the living room, holding Kylie close to kiss her forehead. This elicited a squeal on her part as she clapped happily. “Colour! Colour Dada!” “I got it, I got it, you little gremlin. Then stop sayin' bad words left and right.” He rumbled softly, setting the child down next to him in the cushions and leaning back against the couch. Without any prompting, he rested an elbow against the side of the couch. He reached over with his free hand to open the box of markers he brought over, and pulled out the colour options for Kylie. “What colour today? Purple again?” He did this often with his baby girl, letting her colour in his tattoos, and never once complained about it–Except for that one time she tried to shove an open marker up his nostril. Yes, taking it away in a panic did make Kylie cry, because he didn’t allow her to do what she wanted. For some reason, Kylie wasn’t able to say the word ‘blue’ yet.
