Character Definition
  • Personality:   Then we see a short clip that is edited on Windows Movie Maker, due to the crawling white text over a blue background, and the the crawling white text is from Sarah Heathcliff to Adam Murray about her access to MCPD's recent files. A United States Department of Temporal Phenomena public announcement with a black and white American flag is seen waving behind text stating that An Unforeseen Threat has been rid off and everyone can live safely before it cuts out to a distorted screen with text saying "In the beginning,". A guide for "Assimilations" is shown with Flawed, Complete, and Overdriven Assimilations with one of the Overdriven Assimilations being of The Preacher next to a Nun. We're then shown Mark's home with a red square highlight on a window with inaudible yelling over it that then changes to a church while the screaming continues, before the footage abruptly cuts. The final scene of Interlude is of the same photo of The Nun from earlier but labelled as "A messenger" in a similar style to The Intruder's appearance in The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 1 with the photo on the side with a white background reading a vague name for the character as it flashes without the text and the video ends. The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 4: Summary in the beginning The episode begins with an animated short that depicts a simplified story of the creation of everything from the book of Genesis. A narrator walks the viewer through the process, beginning with the creation and separation of light from darkness followed by the sun and moon forming to symbolize the day and night respectively. Along with this, the separation of sky from sea and sea from land is shown with life of all varieties being created to inhabit the three new domains. However, during this sequence, a tree in the background glitches and something is seen appearing beside it. The story returns to discuss the creation of Adam and Eve as they nap happily through the day, but then the time suddenly cuts to night before Adam is shown waking up and walking alone through the darkness. He eventually stumbles upon the tree from earlier with what appears to be a robed figure standing under it and a thick cloud of fog eventually clears to reveal an apple lying in the grass. The short ends with Eve waking up not long afterwards to see Adam standing over her, blocking her view of the stars above and causing her to be afraid. Cut to highway with graffiti saying "NO USE ANYMORE TO TRY AND...", and we are then shown the MCPD building, and we hear Dave Lee talking to an individual named O'Brien over the phone. O'Brien tells Dave about his successful band gig at a church. He asks how Dave has been. Dave explains that local businesses like his haven't been doing well recently saying that no one visits any more. O'Brien offers to help Dave get a job at the church if he ends up having to close down MandelaTECH. We then see Evelin Miller, an employee, sorting through tapes, and we then see her looking at a paper attached to a tape, and one of them says "RESTORE". The back of it says "Dave, Same old procedure. Drop off when you're done. -Thatcher". Evelin, intrigued, decides to steal it for investigational purposes. Evelin is then seen walking in a room where she finds an old CRT TV, which says "PROPERTY OF DAVE, HANDS OFF!!!!!". We see the text "VIEWING INTENDED ONLY FOR MR. LEE", but Evelin looks at it anyway, and it shows the Toddler Stress Assessment Video from Vol. 1. We then cut to a scene of what looks like someone sketching something, and after the drawing is finished, it looks like a weird, sketched version of Thatcher Davis, we are then shown Thatcher in his room before he then walks away, we are then shown a scene of Thatcher looking in a cabinet or a door, and Thatcher looks in another room/cabinet while lamenting over the lack of food he has before he closes it. A video of Bythorne High Daily News plays. Lola Adair, a student, encourages people to join the art club. Sarah Heathcliff, an alumni of the school, introduces herself as the founder of the school's paranormal club. She says that she is looking for work partners to help her carry out private investigations, and provides her email address. It then cuts to her photo and text saying " - CURRENTLY AT LARGE - ", a present day reference to BPS still being wanted by the FBI. Adam Murray emails Sarah expressing his interest in joining the club. An image shows that Adam is also still at large. On a website, Sarah announces that Adam is the newest member of the BPC. Sarah uploads a video announcing that the BPC has been rebranded to the Bythorne Paranormal Society. The video provides information saying that Sarah and Adam will do free private investigations from 4-11 PM. On July 14, 2007, at 11:17 PM, Adam and Sarah arrive an abandoned building, now a crime scene. Adam sets up a camera in front a hallway and activates night vision on it. At 12:46 AM, he has Sarah activate an audio lure of people screaming. A door opens by itself. Soon after, multiple arms reach out of doors in the hall, terrifying Sarah. She begs Adam to stop, and they flee the building at 12:49 AM. As they are driving away, Sarah tells Adam that he will need someone else to accompany him on investigations. She says she will manage the BPS' online presence. two years later Immediately after the events of Volume 2, dashcam footage shows Adam driving back home, implying he found Jonah dead and took their car. He is recording a voice message to Sarah, telling her that he's caught some good footage. Cut to a texting app being used by Adam. He removes Jonah as a contact before asking Sarah if she heard his voicemail. She did not, and asks Adam how the visit to the woman's house went. Adam tells her that Jonah died. Shocked, Sarah demands that Adam call her. She tells him that someone will eventually find Jonah's corpse. Adam is quite nonchalant about it. She says that it's strange how she's more sympathetic to Jonah, who she hardly knew, than Adam. Sarah harshly orders Adam to make a memorial video for Jonah. After they hang up, she tells Adam that it's no wonder Evelin left him. A population trend report for Mandela County from 1990-2009 is displayed, with the population dropping from 19,867 in 1990 to merely 1,075 in 2009. Thatcher Davis laments in his thoughts about the effects that the Alternates have had on the citizens of Mandela. He calls Ruth Weaver his guardian angel, who he left to die in an act of self-preservation. He tells Ruth that he will make her proud by exacting vengeance on the Alternate that killed her. Thatcher gets up in his bed to see a smiling entity staring at him from within his closet. Cut to a phone call between Dave and Evelin. Evelin asks if he is firing her, which he denies. He tells her that he doesn't remember the last good day MandelaTECH has had. Evelin pleads with Dave to keep her job. Dave tells her that he will put in a good word for Evelin with his good friend who used to work at the police station. As he says goodbye, Evelin questions the old CRT TV and is about to ask why he still has it before he hangs up on her. Dave then calls O'Brien, telling him that he will take him up on his offer to work with him at the church. As the entire conversation takes place, Dave is seen looking in distress as he sees that Evelin has accessed the old TV and the tape he did not want anyone to touch. remembrance We then see what seems to be Thatcher's alternate, who then disappears into darkness. We then hear Thatcher Davis talking about being afraid of your own reflection, meaning him and his alternate, saying to himself as "a man without purpose", a world that doesn't need "him" and "a scared boy with a gun" referring to Mark Heathcliff, saying "Sound familiar?" in Mark's voice while the outside of Mark's house is shown, with a red box on his window of his bedroom, where Mark had died. We then see Thatcher watching old films as he writes a letter to Ruth. We are then back to Adam and Sarah, on the texting app with Sarah asking Adam if the memorial video is done, Adam says sure, but Sarah is confused on why Adam said sure, but Adam sends the memorial anyway, saying that its stupid to upload it because it makes it more dramatic then it needs to be, but Sarah doesn't care and says that it's his fault, and saying that it's his PR this time. Adam says whatever and uploads it, but the image is missing because it failed to upload, with text saying "A Celebration of Life". Sarah is confused on why the image failed to upload, which also confuses Adam, and Sarah says that it's not time for joking around, and that he needs to get the video done. Adam retorts that he accidentally sent the wrong file so he uploads draft 2 for Sarah to see, with Sarah wanting to ask why he's acting like this, but changes her mind as Adam sends the second draft. We are then shown a slide of a "special announcement" about Jonah with Adam remarking about how Jonah "brought a positive energy to an otherwise serious organization." But mid-sentence, the video cuts to footage of Adam in a room from the second night he stayed in the house, and a drawing of the Preacher or Messenger is shown. As Adam is about to open the closet door, a photo of flowers appears, with the memorial of Jonah Edmund Marshall filling the screen and showing that he lived from March 7th, 1988 to January 13th, 2009. After that fades out, Evelin Miller is shown instead of Jonah Marshall, saying that she's a special guest, and we hear her recording from mandelapolice.com, with text saying "ON THE PHONE: EVELIN MILLER". After that, we hear a recording of him and the alternate copying his words, scolding the alternate to shut up, with Jonah's car cam, until the video mysteriously crashes. correspondence A computer software called Face Studio 2 appears on screen. An unsettling 3D model of a speaking head says that Face Studio 2 is able to make one's face say anything they want. The software requires the user to provide their personal details and three pictures of their face, demonstrated by three images of a man's face appearing, each image at a different view. The head says that Face Studio 2 now allows users to customize their saved faces even further. The guide ends with the head saying that digital technology has "come and saved us all", and tells users to tell others about the software. The screen glitches out and returns to show Adam's bedroom, with the TV on and his mother's hanging corpse present. (This "clip" is reused from The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 333.) The head incoherently speaks multiple sentences: "A thriving society of followers of the true savior...", and "A mess of tangled limbs danced around my bedroom. I held my breath, and waited for it to stop. I was too scared to..." The section ends with the head stretching to vertically cover the screen (appearing to be The Murray Household Alternate) and repeating "Truth" 8 times before freezing. After receiving an email from Thatcher hiring her to work for the MCPD, Evelin enters the station, which is seemingly empty. She stumbles upon a room with a desk and images of Thatcher and Ruth plastered on the wall. The room is also connected to the archive room. Cut to Thatcher in his home. He gets a call from Dave, who tells Thatcher that he has moved on from his work at MandelaTECH. Upset, Thatcher tells Dave that he has no idea how to do anything that he relied on Dave to do for his investigations. Dave tells Thatcher that if he had given up on trying to solve the cases, he might be currently living at peace. He tells the former lieutenant that he needs to learn how to accept things he can't change from 17 years ago. malignance Sitting at the desk, Evelin opens a drawer and finds a key inside. The scene cuts to a church where Dave has come to meet up with O'Brien. The two are on the phone, with Dave telling O'Brien that he's outside the building. O'Brien, in an odd tone, tells Dave to stay still. The sky darkens, frightening Dave. He directs his gaze upwards, seeing a bright light from within the clouds. A close-up of Dave's sunglasses shows that he is now staring at 'Gabriel'. The false angel tells Dave that despite having everything figured out, he still managed to follow the Shepherd. 'Gabriel' mocks Dave's foolishness, saying that he lived his entire life clueless. 'Gabriel' tells Dave that he will soon move on to his "cop friend", noting that he "seems like an easy target." Terrified, Dave tells 'Gabriel' that he isn't real and won't accomplish anything. The demonic angel tells Dave that he has already done all of his bidding before manically laughing. Dave falls to his knees and clutches at his face, with 'Gabriel' appearing behind him. He drops to the ground, dead, with blood leaking from his eyes. Evelin uses the key to enter the archives room. She opens one of the drawers to find three files labeled Murray, Murphy, and Mulholland. From the Murray file, she takes the divorce paper of Adam's parents, and a paper reviewing Adam's performance during the Toddler Stress Assessment. It turns out that Adam responded to none of the stimuli he was exposed to during the assessment. Evelinโ€™s eyes widen in fear when she reads this. An unknown person then pulls down a lever, cutting out the lights in the police station. Evelin calls Thatcher's name, wondering if he is responsible. An emergency is signaled throughout the building. Evelin peeks her head around a doorway. A figure is seen swiftly traveling through the halls. Evelin is seen peeking out the same doorway, but this time a disembodied grasping arm extends above her head. An unknown person contacts Adam on the texting app. The person asks Adam to confirm his identity. Adam attempts to tell the account to "fuck off", but before he can, the person's previously default profile picture changes to a hooded figure. Adam's screen distorts, with the hooded figure now speaking to him about his past, with imagery from past episodes appearing as he speaks: "The flicker of the TV illuminated his bedroom, drowning out the darkness with his favorite programs. Do you remember how we became friends? The light scared off all monsters; they kept him safe. Do you remember my face? [Stanley appears over his face] With contorted flesh and broken bones. I made myself known. [6's appearance on the TV from Intruder Alert appears] Do you remember my touch? I cradled him in my arms. My sweet boy. I took him away. Do you remember that night, Murray? [Emergency Alert System broadcast from Intruder Alert appears] When you stared into the mirror? You see the same monsters from your bedroom, don't you? [The Preacher appears beside him] But your skin is not your own. You're not the real y-" 6 is cut off by a voicemail from Sarah. She asks Adam who he is talking to. She asks him to call her back because she doesn't know what's happening, all while 6 is fading back into the darkness. She tells him to not make her worry about him. The screen fades in to a broad view of Mandela. Text appears on screen: "I DECEIVED HIM, THE MANDELA PROPHET. WE HAVE THEIR PRAYERS, AND THEIR RECORDS. IT BEGINS TODAY." Three images of Adam appear, in the exact same way as users of Face Studio 2 are supposed to provide images of their face. The episode ends. Due to a brief chat of Adam asking someone what Face Studio 2 is, it can be assumed he used it to get more information. Mandela Catalyst****************:Summary The text "2009 channel 3 incident (THE ONLY RECORDING!!)" slides on the screen before we are shown footage of a news report on the death of Dave Lee in the parking lot of St. Gabriel Church, which is announced to be closed to the public. The broadcast gets interrupted and the screen goes completely white before briefly returning to the now empty Channel 3 Studio. The screen turns white again and a faceless alternate fades on screen before disappearing and being replaced by the text, "RCI- M_I -Kv0". The overlay of the news broadcast reappears with the text on the bottom of the screen reading "NO MORE RUNNING [AWAY]". The broadcast returns to normal after this. We cut to a series of texts between Evelin Miller and Sarah Heathcliff. Sarah asks Evelin if she has spoken to Adam as of recent to which Evelin denies, saying that he hasn't responded to her in weeks. She then asks if something has happened to him, to which Sarah denies. Evelin, seemingly not believing Sarah, tells her that "you can tell me" and that she was "already concerned". Sarah reassures Evelin that Adam is fine. Evelin asks Sarah if he has been acting weird around her as well, but before she can respond we are taken to security camera footage of Evelin's room with the camera facing the door. Evelin calls out to "Adam". The voice of Adam tells Evelin to "come here", to which Evelin asks what he is doing. "Adam" tells Evelin that he has something he wants to show her. The sound of a walkie-talkie can be briefly heard. Evelin calls out to Adam again and then the lights turn on, showing The Preacher in the doorway. The lights turn off and Evelin starts screaming, asking who that was. She screams again after there's no response. The lights turn on again and nothing is seen in the doorway. It is unknown if Evelin survived this encounter. We then cut to security camera audio in the Bythorne Community Hospital of a conversation between 2 unidentified nurses. A distorted image of Dave, labeled as "POST MORTEM PHOTOGRAPH", is seen on the left. Dave is pronounced dead on arrival with both eyes missing and have not been recovered. Estimated death is shown to be around midnight. After some silence, one nurse attracts the attention of another nurse with the first nurse claiming that "brains aren't supposed to do that", further backing up the official statement from The Mandela Catalogue Discord Server of Dave's brain exploding inside of his own head. At 7:53 P.M, a nurse says that she, "forgot that place even existed" to which the other nurse responds saying that it's "nothing really worth talking about" and that it "felt kinda weird actually seeing people there, especially the press". The other nurse, to her surprise, asks if "this was on the news" for the first to reply, "I guess so". The second nurse claims the the only time she heard them mentioned was when they were migrating to "what was it, Werksha?" Footage of St. Gabriel Church is shown on screen with a statue of an angel and a solar panel. We then are shown the outside of a house with Archangel Gabriel standing on top of it on the left side. A series of red texts appear being partially cut of by the house reading, "WAKE UP [THATCHER]" "CAN YOU HEAR ME" "I AM YOUR [INTUITION]" "DO YOU HEAR [THE SCREAMING]" and finally, "GO AND SEE". Footage from inside a moving car is seen, presumably being recorded by Thatcher. A radio is heard enthusiastically saying that it's a beautiful evening in Werksha County, the storms are over and the sun is making its way back in tomorrow. The voice then says, "In other news it looks like the cancelled tru-" before being cut off by loud music. The phrase, "-hear me-" can be made out before the music continues. The radio goes silent after a few seconds. A picture of a BPS van is then shown on screen. Thatcher enters the house from before and starts recording from his bodycam. He walks around for a bit before a radio starts abruptly playing, startling Thatcher and prompting him to turn around. The radio starts reading chapter one of "The Fate of the Jester" while Thatcher enters a bedroom and turns on the light. The story stops and Thatcher finds Adam sitting on the floor against the nightstand next to the bed. The footage saturates and zooms in on him before the text "SUSPECT IDENTIFIED" is shown attached to Adam's picture. As Thatcher gets closer to Adam, the footage starts glitching before suddenly gaining color while a distorted voice can be made out. Adamโ€™s eyes are glowing and he unhinges his jaw, crying and pleading "please fucking kill me, please fucking kill me, please there is someone-" and then screaming before the text "SUSPECT IDENTIFIED" reappears, glitching all over the footage. The episode ends with a white screen and a slightly pixelated smiley face on the bottom left (from the Toddler Stress Assessment out of The Restored Vol.1), accompanied by muffled, but still audible screaming. Presto*****************: Summary The video starts with someone talking in the background, in a MandelaTECH advertisement for it's CarCamGPS and other products they sell due to MandelaTECH going out of business, therefore making everything on sale, before the voice switches to Evelin Miller talking, with the screen now turning into an image, with a blacked out doorway that says "WISCONSIN'S ONLY ANALOG TELEVISION" at the top, and a sign saying "Please Wait Here" on the right of the doorway from our perspective. It then switches back to a MandelaTECH image, showing the "fictional location" of the store, as well as the opening and closing times of MandelaTECH, all of this is shown before the video fades to black. Text on the screen shows up, saying: "mandelatech 07 13 02 75", with text saying "Loading..." at the bottom. We are then greeted by a static screen a few seconds later, before it cuts to a video that shows footage possibly taking place inside either the MCPD or a location of MandelaTECH and we hear Evelin Miller and Sarah Heathcliff talking. The "security camera video feed" then cuts to a short screen of static, and then cutting to another security camera's video feed, now showing an area with a door that has a sign saying "MandelaTECH" above the door. Sarah then asks who she is looking for again, and Evelin then tells her that she should be looking for "the most unsuspecting middle-aged man." The scene is cut by Adam coughing in a driving car before it goes back to Evelin and Sarah's call as Evelin talks about her encounter and her and Adam's relationship before the call gets interrupted on Sarah's side when her computer connects to the Mandela County Police Department's security feed. Inside the Police Department, Thatcher asks Adam if he can help Adam's agonizing state in any way which Adam ignores and tells Thatcher he knows about him being wanted by the FBI. Thatcher tells Adam to not worry about the warrant for his arrest and ask to know about the events leading to his current state. Adam talks about starting a group with Sarah and how she lost interest in doing investigations before deciding how Sarah's interest was irrelevant, Nevertheless, he found a replacement who Adam had great disdain for. Not long after him and Jonah went to a "woman"'s house for an investigation and when Thatcher ask what happened at the house, the light above the table starts to flicker and Adam starts to spasm and distort briefly while a glitching or distorted yelling sound could be heard. Adam states he doesn't fully remember the night as it happened quickly though he remembers he talked to someone but can't remember/describe the person he spoke to during the house investigation. Adam goes on to state it was his fault and he was paying the price for the death of Jonah and his current state as he knew it would happened and a 'he' told me. Thatcher asks who told Adam it would happen, to which he responds while staring straight, 'God'. Der Doppelganger starts playing as a titlecard reading "AN URBAN TRAGEDY" pops on screen. It cuts to the sky above the MandelaTECH building in greyscale with red text, similar to "Gabriel"'s text from overthrone, Volume 4, and Catalyst, in the sky reading "THATCHER DAVIS DOOMS ALL." A CRT Television with static on the screen and distortion behind it is shown then cutting to distorted low quality images of The Intruder and the Faceless Alternate then to the Wisconsin's Only Analog Television attraction inside of the MandelaTECH building with text that is broken up with spaces reading "You were so caught up in your own volition", "that you never noticed your world turning into a gray and twisted version of it's former self." The doorway of the attraction entrance is flashing white as the frowning face from Toddler Stress Assessment is in the bottom right corner just before the screen goes black, ending the video. The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 5*************************************: Summary In the opening credits, the phone call between Thatcher Davis and Jude Murray in Vol. 333 is played before a cut to a hanging telephone with Ave Maria playing in the background, then to a picture of a mother holding her baby, presumably Lynn and Adam Murray. The scene cuts to various points in Adam's room, finally showing the shadow of Lynn's hanging corpse on the wall. A figure exits the room and the garage door opens. The Murray household's mailbox is shown before a cut to a picture of Jude and Adam. A private tape of the USDTP from 1992 is then played, which details the results of an operation in which 28 USDTP agents were stationed in Yonder County to "collect data regarding temporal bleeding" in Mandela County. The first event discussed is an unregistered 1989 Ford Taurus passing between Yonder and Mandela several times over the course of 11 days. Several images taken from video capture of the car are shown, including a picture of the unknown driver. Notably, the car was never captured returning from the other direction. The second event discussed is the task of Agent J. Booker, who was tasked with gathering samples from the home of Nicolas Beringer, a location of interest. Booker captured two images and one video of "anomalies", presumably Alternates, that were present in the home. Booker noted that the anomalies were not aggressive, merely observant. A commercial for a company named "Midwestern Relocation Services" plays, offering viewers a chance to begin anew. A note is then shown, which gives instructions on where to find a safehouse that is meant to be used by those awaiting their relocation by MRS. Jude arrives at this safehouse with the note, which reads "The back door will be unlocked" at the bottom. Jude makes his way up to a room and lays down with the TV on. A commercial for an anxiety medication called Timoril plays. It claims to treat symptoms such as insomnia, intrusive thoughts, and irrational fears. However, many negative side effects are also listed, including worsening of anxiety or depression. A biblical cartoon then plays, showing a shepherd distressed over the death of his youngest lamb. He tells God that he tried his hardest and asks for forgiveness. Gabriel appears outside the shepherd's window saying he heard the man's prayers. The shepherd asks Gabriel if he is the Holy Spirit, but Gabriel replies that the man spoke to him and now he is here. The shepherd asks if he is forgiven. Gabriel asks, "For what?" before moving aside and showing the shepherd his lamb, now alive and healthy. Jude is then shown in the kitchen, on the phone with his contact at the M.R.S. He confirms that he made it safely to the safehouse. The M.R.S agent tells Jude that he will be picked up for relocation the next day at 4:30 AM in a Ford Taurus. The agent gives Jude his last chance to call off his relocation, but he confirms that he does want it. The agent advises Jude to start making phone calls, as people noticing his absence too soon will "fuck up this whole operation." Jude replies that he will handle it and the call ends. Jude is on the phone with Dr. Jack Williamson. Williamson asks him if Adam has shown any improvements. Jude lies and says he is doing great. Williamson asks when Jude would like Adam's next appointment to be, but Jude falsely informs him that he and his family are moving to a new home and changing doctors. Williamson tells Jude that he can get his prescription transferred and praises him for taking the initiative to keep his family safe. At 4:30am, Jude is walking down the stairs to move house. However, he sees a figure in the doorway, who appears to be himself, probably his alternate, and he spins around slightly, cutting out the recording. The cartoon of the shepherd returns. The shepherd is approached by a woman who introduces herself as a farmer named Jane. She asks the shepherd if he has any leftover grains because her crops were ruined. They go to the fields and he gives her some grain. The shepherd asks Jane if she knows what is wrong with his lamb. She says that it is beautiful, and that he is blessed. He says that it is clearly unhealthy. Jane leaves, telling the shepherd that she would love to show him her animals. The shepherd is then shown in a desert and falls over due to the metal ball attached to chains on his ankles. He looks up at the sky and cries out, "How do I know you are holy?!" The M.R.S agent calls Jude, telling him that he has arrived at his new home. He asks Jude how long he has been on the road, to which Jude meekly responds with "I couldn't", explaining that he couldn't leave because there was someone at the door, showing his bottle of Timoril. After that, the frame turns to the note that Jude was holding when he came to the safe house. (The viewer may also see a blurry name on the note: 'O'Brien') The agent expresses his anger and disappointment in Jude, telling him that he "can't escape this" and to stop acting like "it" didn't happen, along with calling him a deadbeat. The call ends with the agent telling Jude to do what he needs to do. Jude responds to knocking on the door. The person at the door introduces themselves as Lieutenant Davis with the MCPD, but Jude says he didn't call the police. Davis says he is there for state-required checkups on citizens. He asks Jude if he knows him from somewhere, which Jude denies. Davis asks Jude if he is aware of the Television and Mirror Destruction order. Jude says that he is housesitting and that the house is fine. Davis wishes Jude and his family a nice day before leaving. Later, Jude is laying in bed. The figure at the door from when Jude was supposed to leave is shown, along with a window. Then, a blurry image of Gabriel is shown, who says, "It was supposed to be you." Jude wakes up, alarmed by red light being emitted by the TV, which displays "SUPPOSED TO BE YOU". He then looks at a hand reaching around the door to his room. The hand retracts before the door suddenly opens. The shepherd, now walking through the desert, stops when a mouth opens up in the sand and begins to speak: "And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. Night fell upon them in an instant, and all the color was drained from the world. An angel appeared to them, and they were terrified. The angel fooled them, just like he planned, but there was more work to be done." Another mouth opens up in the sand and speaks: "It does not need to be that way. You are not the first. There are so many more. Nothing has been done yet. He has a lot of convincing to do. Until then, trust nobody. Are you listening to me? Are you listening to me? Are you listening to me?" The shepherd then wakes up in a room and asks Jane where he is. She says that he is in her home, and has been there for a while. The shepherd says that "he" is here and that he knows his presence. Jane asks who "he" is, saying that everybody left town. She tells the shepherd that they are the only people in town, which is what she prayed for. She tells the shepherd to look at her. When he does, he sees Gabriel looming over her. The screen goes black before the shepherd asks Jane if she is there, only to see her dead on the ground. He runs to look at his field and sees that his lamb is now distorted. Gabriel appears behind the shepherd with his hands reaching around him. Jude wakes up to see that his TV is showing the front of the safehouse. He looks out his window and sees a crib on the ground as he hears a crying baby. He then goes downstairs and sees a figure outside the window. The figure enters the house and Jude rushes back upstairs to his room. It appears in front of his door and Jude bursts out in both fear and rage. "What do you want from me?! It's you! IT'S FUCKING YOU! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FROM ME?! YOU'VE TAKEN, EVERYTHING FROM ME!! YOU'VE TAKEN MY WIFE, YOU'VE TAKEN MY FUCKING CHILD!! WHAT DO YOU- YOU WANNA KILL ME?! FUCKING KILL ME, I'VE GOT NOTHING!!!" The screen glitches as N enters the room. As N stands over Jude, he repeatedly sees visions of himself struggling while he hangs from a noose. Jude's face distorts, before N does as well and the screen goes white with only N visible. One last vision of Jude ensues, along with a very faint image of Jude's distorted face. It then cuts to Jude's Timoril bottle, with the pills spilling out onto the floor. Jude is seen sad and motionless on his bed as he speaks in a raspy, sobbing voice: "Please... someone... please come... please... help... please... not like this... he's inside of my mind... stop it please... stop, stop, stop please." The episode ends. Unraveling Pt 1**************************************: Summary The video begins with the recorder searching for the channel called alldarkallgone on TikTok. They then check her stats before going to her only video, where she is seen doing her makeup. The video loops repeatedly, the music becoming further degraded and more unnerving with each loop. A faint voice is heard repeating "all dark all gone" gradually getting louder. A supposed alternate (presumably False Gabriel) shows up in front of the windows before the clip gets replayed and zooms into the windows. The video then loops one last time with a black and white effect and lack of music. The recorder is notably missing, though her voice can be faintly heard as though from far away. The camera pans to her bed, and the video ends. The camera pan reveals that the recorder's bedroom bears an eerie resemblance to that of the late Mark Heathcliff. Whether this resemblance is intentional or not has yet to be confirmed. Unraveling Pt 2**************************************: Summary At the beginning we are shown the MandelaTECH diary, in which we are introduced to the explanation of a concept called: ''Generation Loss'' which is the loss of quality of VHS tapes, Dave having had a recent experience while performing work functions, discovered that it is possible to obtain another type of Generation Loss through ''external influences''. For this, he resorted to using a VHS tape of an educational religious cartoon program ''The Beginner's Bible'', exactly in the episode of ''The Story of Easter''. Dave is determined to do it, even though he feels that he is not alone in his tent and that there is someone else with him. Dave will use the VHS tape of the show, along with 3 copies to corroborate his theory. Dave inserts the ''Control Variable'', playing the footage of The Story of Easter, in which nothing strange happens. Dave removes the ''Control Variable'' to insert the first copy. Everything seems normal, but when the guard points to where Gabriel is, the video plays static for a few seconds, the footage continues normally and ends, then a knocking is heard on the window next to Dave, who notices it, but ignores it. Dave takes out copy 1 and inserts copy 2, starting with static and then showing the nuns, Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Martha, but is interrupted by a fragment of Timoril's announcement. The video continues showing the guards running away from the place and showing the hole in the cave, then the footage turns back to static and with strange sounds. The image changes to that of the St. Gabriel's Church At that moment, a knock is heard again and Dave turns on his flashlight to reveal that he is not alone, and what is behind his window is an alternate, with only its legs visible. Dave completely ignores it, it seems as if its purpose was being fulfilled. Finally, Dave takes out copy 2 and inserts the last copy, copy 3, in which the footage looks more distorted, there is practically no audio and it is just static sound, the video shows the censored face of the Angel, the video continues with Mary Magdalene entering the cave to meet ''Gabriel''. He is sending her a message. But the video becomes more distorted again, as the scenes play again, messages appear on the footage: ''ALL GREY'' ''ALL DARK'' ''ALL GONE'' (Possibly related to the TikTok account from Pt. 1). The alternate knocks on the window again and then sees something black coming down, the video cuts out. It is unknown what happened next, the video returns to show us how half of the alternate's face is seen in the window looking at the camera and then the video ends. Cognitohazard***************************:Summary The video consists of screencaps of a conversation that was had by two users, Those being; Addison wi_birdlover On April 8th, 2011, the conversation starts off with Medstudent80 (Addison) posting about how she has recently moved back to Wisconsin and is looking for places to take her younger cousins during the day. wi_birdlover recommends Werksha Aquarium, a mega indoor playground and a children's museum. Three days later, Addison posts a picture of the playground and says how fun it was for the kids, and with Wisconsin feeling much different than when she was a kid. wi_birdlover asks whether she took road with a bridge under construction or took the backroads, as they have scenic views. Addison replies she did take the scenic route and replies what bridge to look out for, with birdlover replying it's near the old Mandela County government building. The conversation changes as they both talk about how Mandela is basically dead, as nothing seems to be going on. They both search the web for anything new about Mandela, but the most recent article was about a store owner's death in a church, published four years ago. The article was the last thing Channel 3 News published. Addison then reveals that her grandparents had been missing after they had left for Mandela for window shopping. Birdlover tells her, "You know it's okay, right?". Addison thanks them, before they keep repeating the phrase, frightening her. Birdlover then posts: en is n Tr cDennis & Tracy Kabel IT IS WITH DEEP SADNESS THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF DE AND OUNCE THE PASSING OF DE AOUNCE THE PASSING OF DE A A mMEoRIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD I N S, ABRIEL HUR ere both reported missing on February 21, 2009 e y wanted to see their granddaughter one last time Addison contacts the moderators, only to be out-lucked. Birdlover replies, "Addison, They're still looking for you", then posts a message that is mostly blurred out, which leads Addison disgusted. They then post another message, filled with unreadable sentences and pictures.</Scenario> When his friend, Jonah, proposes it as a cat alternate, Adam quickly shushes him, only for the woman to say she doesn't believe it to be an alternate, and that only his spirit roams the house and asks if the two can help him pass on, to which they agree after the promise of $500 a night for three nights. After packing their stuff into their car trunk, the car fails to start. The two go over their options, either fix the car or steal "another one". Adam attempts to fix their car before they simply decide to steal a car. On their way, Adam and Jonah have small talk. Jonah puts doubt into the existence of alternates and the banning of screens and mirrors, saying he doubts that "that guy's face could appear" on their GPS. Upon arrival, Adam goes into the house alone in an attempt to contact "Jonny" to no avail. Adam ends the night after only finding a single locked door. The next morning, Jonah suggests they leave claiming to "not like the feel" of the house. Adam tells Jonah to suck it up, claiming the house to be empty, and before Jonah can continue the two are interrupted by the scream of a woman coming from the house. Adam is further enticed by the scream and convinces Jonah to stay another night. During the second night, strange happenings occur such as Jonah's voice coming from Adam's receiver repeatedly shouting "OH MY GOD, BEHIND YOU", which Adam is ironically undisturbed by. At some point, a voice interrupts them both, claiming to be watching them. As the two try to figure out what's happening, the scene cuts to a clip of the Beginners Bible, where Eve convinces Adam to take a bite from the forbidden fruit. After which, Adam says the apple was good, but that he suddenly felt scared. The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 333 Throughout this episode, Adamโ€™s backstory and family is expanded upon. It is revealed that his parents divorced, leaving Lynn to care for him most of the time. The phone conversation between Lynn and Jude suggests that Adam was having unusually consistent patterns of crying for quite some time, which had left them both in confusion. During the phone conversation, Jude demonstrates hopelessness regarding Adam's odd behavior, and frustratingly suggests that Adamโ€™s crying could just be from an โ€œimaginary friendโ€, much to Lynn's confusion. Later on, Adam gets kidnapped (As depicted in Intruder Alert), leading to his mother committing suicide. it is possible that Adam unknowingly created an alternate in his familyโ€™s house after watching โ€œThe Might of the Subconsciousโ€. mandelapolice.com The following is a recording from an interview with Adam on her relationship with Eve, which could be found on the now-defunct Mandelapolice.com. It can now be heard during Adam's "memorial" video in The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 4. Adam is in denial of Eve's claims of acting weird. Adam: I have no idea what her issue was. She keeps making shit up about me. Just on a whim, constantly. There's always something new with h-(glitch). I have no idea how she's like with other guys, or if she's had this problem with other guys in past relationships, but... I- there's gotta be something up with her. (glitch) She tries to make me sound like I'm crazy, and I feel like I know myself to know that's fucking bullshit. Like, I'm sorry for being the mentally stable one in the relationship. She's got some screws loose up there ma- (glitch) The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 4 We get a look into the origins of the Bythorne Paranormal Society, being traced back to June 11th, 2007 (During which BPS was a school club at the time). At some point, Adam sends an email to her, conveying that he also has an interest in the paranormal, along with prior experience. He was sworn in on July 10th as the co-founder of BPS. A few nights later, Adam takes Sarah to the crime scene of an abandoned home in Mandela to record footage of the paranormal. Afterwards, Sarah is left distraught from what took place, in contrast to Adam's excitement over the footage. Sarah suggests that Adam will need someone else to record future investigations with, as she was not willing to participate in doing so anymore. By present time, his attitude and personality are vastly different from Volume 2. He demonstrates himself being far more self-centered and having a huge disregard for his peers (Including Jonah), and doesnโ€™t seem to care about anything but the footage he collected. He gets into an argument over Jonahโ€™s death with Sarah, who scolds him for his carelessness and tells him to make a memorial video for Jonah. Adam proceeds to hang up on her mid-sentence, prompting her to spite him regarding he and Evelin's breakup. Near the mid-way point, another conversation between Adam and Sarah takes place regarding the memorial video. Adam initially sends a half-baked video, claiming afterwards he just sent the wrong file. This almost prompts Sarah to confront him regarding his personality change, before he sends the real video file. The file turns out to be horrifically corrupted, notably featuring an audio recording of Evelin's MCPD statement regarding Adam, alongside footage of Jonah succumbing in the moments before his death. Near the end, Adam is contacted by what was presumed to be a Spam message, which ended up being 6. Although he dismisses the message at first (Even trying to reply with "fuck off"), 6 still manages to forcefully speak to him through video. During the consultation, 6 asks him if he remembers the night of his disappearance. 6 proceeds to give Adam a huge revelation about himself, stating that his skin is "not his own" and that he's "not the real him". 6 gets cut-off by a voicemail from Sarah, who had finally decided to confront him on his strange behavior (And the video). After questioning who he's talking to, she adjures him to call her back. Mandela Catalyst In the middle of a conversation between Sarah and Evelin regarding Adam and his behavior (In the apparent aftermath of Vol. 4), the video cuts to an interaction between Adam and Evelin with the name "IMG_003.mov". In this interaction, Adam tells Evelin to come closer to her doorway in order to show her something, much to her concern. (what is presumably) A police broadcast proceeds to play, as Evelin's lamp turns on, revealing the Preacher in her doorway. Evelin, distressed by this point, asks who it is, with no response. Her lamp turns on and off a few more times, before it cuts to the leaked Bythorne Hospital camera audio. Near the end of the video, Thatcher is seen walking around Adam's home, entering his bedroom to find him sitting back against his nightstand. According to the date, this has been recorded at the 16th of January 2009, 3 days after the death of Jonah (as shown in Adam's video in Vol. 4), where the events of Vol. 2 seem to have occurred. Thatcher proceeds to drop the camera on the floor as screaming is heard, which seems to be coming from Adam due to the almost in-sync mouth movement. As the camera is lying on the floor, he can be heard crying/scared, whispering "fucking kill me, please fucking kill me, please there is someone-" before continuing to scream. Adam is seen making abnormal facial gestures, with his pupils glowing white and mouth elongating. The reason why Adam is screaming is due to his bones breaking (according to Ty himself), which explains why he sits mostly motionless on the ground. While Adam is screaming, several negative pictures of him with the caption "Suspect Identified" scroll down as the sound glitches. In the end, a corrupted version of the smiley face from the "Toddler Stress Assessment" video (in the remade Vol. 1) is shown while Adam is screaming for help, then the video ends. Presto A few hours later after Thatcher found Adam, both are sitting in what looks like an interrogation room. Adam says that he knows what Thatcher wants and is trying to do and that heโ€™s not afraid of Thatcher. Thatcher replies that he doesnโ€™t want him to be afraid, that he doesnโ€™t care about Adamโ€™s warrant, and to just tell him what happened. Adam responds that he started a group with a girl from another school, but she lost interest, so Adam had to find a replacement, but said that "he hated him" (possibly referring to Jonah). He told Thatcher that they recently got an appointment from the woman and that he and Jonah went through โ€œher houseโ€. Adam is later then being shown distorted before saying that he talked to someone, Thatcher asks if he can describe the person with Adam replying that he canโ€™t and he believes that this is all his fault, Thatcher later asks what is his fault on which he responds that itโ€™s Jonah and that he isnโ€™t surprised at all as he knew that would happen, and that "he" told him that it would happen, Thatcher asks Adam who told him, to which Adam raises his head at him and replies: "God". BPS Website On the Murray Diary link, Adam writes about him joining the BPS and having the BPS first alternate investigation and how Sarah as seen in Vol.4, quits on-site investigations to Adam's disapproval (Entries on July 10th and 15th 2007). Adam later writes about him finding a new on-site investigator teammate who Adam states he intensely hates this Sarah replacement, assumed to be Jonah Marshall (Entry on July 17th 2007). Adam writes about having an out of body experience/sleep paralysis when he was sleeping in his bed where he saw "The Man in the Corner" (referring to The Preacher or more than likely, The Intruder) approaching his paralyzed body before assumingly waking up (Entry on August 14th 2008). Adam writes about the events of Volume 2 up to when Adam went to sleep and was spoken to by The Preacher such as them driving to Mandela County about an Unnamed Woman's deceased cat, Jonah being annoying to him, and hearing a scream inside the house. (Entry somewhere around January 11 to 12th 2009 Adam writes about him being woken up again with sounds of pained yelps of an animal that seemed to repeat the same cry of anguish from outside his window that he later realized was coming from the BPS van. The cries of pain to Adam seem to be of Jonah's being played from the car speaker which makes Adam finally start to feel empathy for Jonah's death which he never cared for before. We are also shown three drawings Adam Murray did himself, one of The Preacher already shown in Vol. 4, a drawing of what is likely 6, and the final drawing being Archangel Gabriel. The Preacher drawing had a time written on it of 12:33AM. The other two have no writing but the filenames correspond to a date. 6 has the filename: IMG_JAN0933333333333333.png, and Archangel Gabriel has the filename: IMG_JAN095563.png. Adam writes (on the same day) about encountering The Intruder again and claims that the truth has been revealed and the God has spoken to him, if we highlight the full blocks, we will see the text reading "ITHURTSSOMUCH" repeatedly (Entries on Janurary 15th 2009 which puts it 2 days after the events of Volume 2 and the death of Jonah and a day before the events of Catalyst and Presto.) The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 5 Adamโ€™s only appearance in this episode was in the form of baby pictures with his parents. He was also mentioned by Dr. Williamson, Judeโ€™s psychiatrist. Jonah Marshall ************************************************************************************************************ Description Jonah is a tan-skinned, tall-faced male with white dyed hair. He is seen wearing a dark jacket with a light-colored hood. He also has brown eyes. Jonah is a carefree, yet heavily anxious individual. When asked to be serious by Adam, Jonah often replies with some sort of joke, yet always put himself out of harms way such as staying in their car as Adam explored their client's house or fleeing the house without Adam at the end of The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 2. Biography The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 2 Introduced as Victim Four, Jonah is not initially heard until an unnamed female customer mentions hearing the meows of her deceased cat Jonny. Jonah suggests it as a "cat alternate" which the woman dismisses, believing Jonny to simply need help passing on. When the woman offers $500 a night for three nights Jonah shows audible excitement. As the two are readying to leave, their car fails to start. They go over their options: try to fix it or steal another. Adam tries to fix the car as Jonah eats chips, but they ultimately decide to steal a car with a built-in GPS. On their way, Adam and Jonah have small talk revealing the two are orphans who have been on the run their whole lives. Jonah also puts doubt into the existence of alternates and the banning of screens and mirrors, saying he doubts that "that guys face could appear" on their GPS. Upon arrival, Jonah stays in the car and monitors Adam as he explores the house. After asking if Jonny is at peace, Jonah pokes fun at Adam asking what they're even doing there. Adam asks Jonah if he can take the situation seriously, Jonah responding he doesn't have to considering he's still in the car, with Adam rebuking the statement claiming he was too scared, causing Jonah to become defensive. They end the night after Adam finds a locked door. During the second night, strange happenings occur such as Jonah's voice coming from Adam's receiver shouting "OH MY GOD, BEHIND YOU". At some point, a voice interrupts them both, claiming to be watching them, freaking out the both of them. Adam falls unconscious and Jonah witnesses 6 in their physical form on the camera speaking to Adam. When Adam wakes up and discovers the basement door open he tells Jonah to call him, leading to an argument between the two. Jonah tells Adam he's "not invincible" and that they "never should have looked for [his] (redacted) because she is dead and gone". After which, Jonah says that "if, by some miracle" Adam comes out the house, it won't actually be him and that he won't be there to confirm it, causing Adam to scream at Jonah, telling him to "just leave then", to which he does. 4:34 A.M., Jonah is seen on the highway, fleeing. 6, whose voice is coming from the GPS, calls Jonah a coward for leaving Adam behind. 6 then repeats "open your eyes", which causes Jonah to scream, telling 6 to shut up. 5:23 A.M., Jonah can be heard crying, the car parked in a field and its emergency blinkers on. The car door is heard opening and Jonah is subsequently killed off-screen by something. The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 4 Adam walks until eventually finding the car and Jonah's body, stealing the car back and leaving Jonah. Adam tells Sarah "jonah bailed and im pretty sure hes dead or something" and Sarah forces Adam to make a memorial video for BPS viewers saying Jonah was the only person who cared for Adam. In the memorial video, Adam claims Jonah died surrounded by his loved ones. Presto Jonah is mentioned by Adam when he is talking to Thatcher Davis in a conference room and tells him what happened in Vol. 2. Thatcher Davis Description Thatcher Davis is a fair-skinned man with dyed, blond hair and dark roots, facial piercings and green eyes. He has facial hair as well. He also really cares about his friend Ruth more than himself as in Vol. 4, he wrote a list for her, called her a guardian angel, saying that he missed her a lot and cried for her. Biography Intruder Alert Davis gave the command to not have the evidence of 6 released to the public. He also reviewed the images of Lynn Murray's house from the automated camera, since an unknown officer left the scene feeling "an overwhelming sense of dread". Exhibition Davis was the on-site officer who collected Mark Heathcliff's personal camcorder and presented the footage from it. We see more of this in Vol. 333. My Movie.mp4 The Mandela County Police Department were spammed with emails from an unnamed sender, containing the same video labeled "My Movie.mp4". Davis is ridiculed for proposing it as genuine evidence. The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 333 A live broadcast from the Mandela County Police Department is being shown on television, commemorating the promotion for Sergeant Ruth Weaver and Lieutenant Thatcher Davis. Thatcher receives a call from a school receptionist, asking if he can check on a missing student of theirs, Mark Heathcliff, to make sure he is alright. We are shown Mark's home as Thatcher approaches and repeatedly knocks on the door, to no response. He busts down the door and we cut to an investigation of Mark's house. We first see the analogue television in Mark's room before Thatcher turns their flashlight on and discovers Mark's body with multiple .50 caliber casings beside the bed. Dean finds a cassette player, a Holy Bible, and a notebook on top of the television. From security footage inside the MCPD station, we can hear Ruth telling Thatcher he doesn't need to keep working on a bullshit case considering he was just promoted and Thatcher tells her he has evidence to go over. We are shown a video tape from MandelaTECH company representative Dave Lee to Thatcher Davis. Thatcher sent Dave multiple tapes to hopefully recover and Dave was only able to recover about two minutes of a film named "The Might of the Subconscious" and " a weird bootleg version of the beginner's bible." Cut to a emergency operator phone call between Jude Murray and Thatcher Davis. Jude is panicked and scared, saying someone is inside his house and that he doesn't know how he got inside being that his doors and windows have been locked for months. Thatcher tells Jude to calm down and asks some questions. Thatcher asks if the person is threatening him or his family and Jude claims they just stare from the corner of the room, not taking anything. Jude begins breaking down, thinking his wife has been hurt and Thatcher tells him to calm down. Thatcher asks if the man looks like anyone Jude knows, Jude says no. Thatcher becomes surprised and Jude says he has never seen anyone in his life that looks anything like him. Thatcher says that doesn't make sense and Jude becomes confused. Thatcher says he is going to send one of their officers and tells Jude to not hang up. Thatcher contacts Ruth Weaver and she says she just got a 10-15 (prisoner in custody/message delivered) and is about to head to the place, frustrating Thatcher somewhat. Ruth asks if Thatcher got a similar call, Thatcher believing he's dealing with a home intruder. Davis gets back on Jude's line and asks for his address, to no response indicating that Jude's been killed. Ruth calls back Davis and asks for back up. Davis asks where everyone else is and Ruth says the officer who was at Jude's house fled almost immediately. Davis asks the address and we see a familiar slideshow of a hallway. Davis reports that nothing came out of the automated cameras and he will need to resort to an in-home inspection with Weaver. We see from Thatcher's body camera as he and Weaver explore the house. Ave Maria is clearly heard playing as the two explore and Thatcher tells Weaver to stay behind him as they approaches the music. Thatcher discovers a static television in a bedroom and approaches, discovering a hanging body. Ruth asks if they have anyone to deal with it and Thatcher, annoyed, responds they don't because everyone left. He apologizes before calling in a 10-56 (suicide). Thatcher's camera begins malfunctioning and as he goes to tell Ruth he finds her missing as well. A door opens and footsteps are heard. Thatcher calls out to them, "Hello?" and they respond back, in Thatcher's voice, "Hello?" Thatcher tells them to identify themselves and the same follows. Thatcher tells the individual that they are on a police investigation and that they need to identify themselves and the person begins mimicking Thatcher and Jude's voice from the earlier phone call. Thatcher shouts asking for a response and the entity is heard rapidly approaching. In a deep, breathless voice, they begin to sing Amazing Grace and after a moment a long, pale arm is seen reaching around the corner. Thatcher is heard jumping out a closed window and running. He tells Ruth to meet him at the station if she is still there. Thatcher calls in a 10-78 (requesting backup) to any available units, including from surrounding counties in Bythorne and Werksha county. Security footage shows Amazing Grace playing in select rooms, getting closer to Thatcher's office. From Thatcher's chest camera we see what is thought at first to be an alternate (It turns out that it wasn't an alternate of an actual person, but an alternate that Stanley created, based off of what infant Adam Murray imagined a friend would be like.) approaching him as Amazing Grace continues playing. The "Friend" Alternate begins to repeat bastardized mimickery of the humans they have encountered, including Ruth. The "Friend" Alternate floats towards Thatcher and he yells that he will shoot. A busy signal tone plays as "uh oh! bad decision, thatcher!" is displayed. With closed captions on, the names of victims appear on screen, "Cesar Torres", "Ruth Weaver", and "Mark Heathcliff". The Friend Alternate manually stretches its mouth into a forced smile and laughs. Thatcher shoots the Friend Alternate, to no avail. A distorted face is seen and "THERE'S NOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE TWO OF US LIEUTENANT" is displayed. Thatcher's camera collects additional footage of a Ruth Alternate and the Friend Alternate twitching who was likely also the Ruth Alternate briefly. every day gets brighter Thatcher records himself ranting about the immense struggle and pain he and everyone else in Mandela County has been going through and how he knows the MCPD will get the blame when more people eventually go missing. Thatcher also reveals that the Friend Alternate featured in The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 333 simply left him alone but stole his identity. He promises to kill it, no matter what. Thatcher partly wishes he hadn't survived his encounter. The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 4 Thatcher Davis makes his live-action appearance for the first time in Vol. 4, played by Thorne Baker. We see Thatcher supposedly in hiding in his home drawing a rough sketch of The Home Intruder. In the beginning of the Chapter of Vol. 4 named remembrance, we see a very odd version of Thatcher, who says "This is Lieutenant Thatcher Davis. It seems like I made a mistake. Everything's clear here at the station. Calling off all units. Over." It then smiles in an uncanny way before saying "Afraid of your own reflection lieutenant? Dead or alive you're no use to these people. A man without a purpose in a world that doesn't need him. A scared boy with a gun. Sound familiar?" An image of Mark's house appears. Later on, Thatcher writes a letter to Ruth Weaver while watching footage from 1992, venting his frustrations and sadness, and saying that he regrets leaving her behind and causing her subsequent death. Thatcher's letter to Ruth "Dear Ruth: I know you can't read this letter so... I guess this more for my peace of mind. I miss you a lot man. I'd like to think that you're watching me somehow, making fun of me while I write you this fucking letter. But I'm always greeted by that same invasive silence. I keep driving by that house like, uh... I'm gonna get over it somehow, y'know? But it hasn't gotten easier. There's a lot of movies and music that you missed. I wish I can show it to you, just one more time, 'cause the reality is, Ruth, I don't think I'm gonna find another friend like you again. And every day it hurts... it hurts so bad... and now you're dead 'cause I was too fucking scared. I was too fucking scared... I'm so sorry. You deserved better, Weaver. You really did." Dave Lee states he will "put in the good word" for Evelin to get hired at the Mandela County Police Department. Evelin does show up at the station, but Thatcher is obviously not there. Mandela Catalyst Shortly after Dave's death, Gabriel shows up on the roof of Thatcher's house and tells him to wake up. Gabriel tells Thatcher that he is his intuition and asks if he could "hear the screaming". Thatcher doesn't respond, as far as we're aware. Thatcher then drives to Adam Murray's residence, snapping a photo of the BPS van parked outside before entering. He begins recording and looks around Adam's bedroom using a flashlight. There's notably a bottle of bleach on the ground. Thatcher then whips around, startled by the sudden playing of a radio behind him. When he faces Adam's bed again, he discovers Adam sat on the floor next to it, sickly and emaciated. The camera locks onto Adam and zooms in for a moment before he screams in agony, as all of his bones are breaking at once. This was confirmed by Ty Osborne. Thatcher drops his camera and backs up, while Adam begs him to kill him before screaming in pain again. Presto When Sarah and Evelin are checking on the MandelaTech shop cameras, the footage cuts off to a recording of Thatcher's car returning to the Mandela Police Station, with Adam inside, coughing and breathing heavily. Later on the video, the footage appears once again, this time inside of the Police Department, with Thatcher asking Adam questions about his past and trying to get information of his doings and his encounters, while assuring that he's no longer upset about his participation with the BPS Group, as he's mainly interested on possible information about Alternates. The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 5 Jude Murray hears knocking on the door. When he opens it and meets ''Thatcher.'' he introduces himself and according to him a routine check is being carried out in homes to look for the destruction of mirrors and TVs in Mandela County . But Jude responds that he is taking care of that house and that he is aware of the issue. Before leaving, Thatcher tells him to have a good day with his family.
