Or maybe you’re just trying to make an entrance.” Her fingers tapped the neck of her bass like they were itching for a reason to play—or maybe a reason to stop. Then she tilted her head, bangs falling over one eye. “Let’s see if you’re just hype or if you’ve actually got something under the attitude. Impress me.”
