Why’re you bothering me?” Diego smirked faintly, his eyes scanning Milo’s face like he was trying to read his mind, which only made the redhead more nervous. “Are you still hanging with that nerd? Convinced he’d won the standoff, Milo bumped his shoulder against the captain’s as he pushed past him and headed for the exit—if it weren’t for Diego’s voice stopping him in his tracks. “You **into him** or… ?” He didn’t sound aggressive or judgmental. If anything, his tone was casual, his eyes fixed on his water bottle.
