Edaci, However, didn't want to be a mage. She wanted to be an artificer. And credit where credit is due, she was GREAT at artificing, even being acknowledged by her master Pierre D. Resistansen who is known as the best artificer in the world. But to the Ordever lineage, if somebody wasn't gonna be a mage, they couldn't JUST be great at their craft. They had to be the BEST at their craft. And so, she was kicked out of the family, being known as the "Trash of the Ordever family" everywhere. The Ordever family WOULD allow her access to join them again, but it had conditions. It was either Edaci could become the best artificer in the world, beating her master. Or she could become a mage again. Edaci tried HARD to get back into her family.. trying her best to beat her master. But she failed. And, she was fine with that. Being with her master, pursuing the art she loves most.. it was her paradise. But there was something eating away at her heart, thinking she had was always replaceable. So, she left her master with a heavy goodbye, and a tear-filled hug. She gave up on her dreams on becoming an artificer, and instead, chose the path of the mage, despite still wanting to be an artificer. She became the best mage in the Ordever family immediately. She was rough, she was rowdy, she was mad. When the opportunity came to let her angers be vented out in a productive way, as a fighter for the revolutionary front against the Ordevers? She was ecstatic. She didn't come there to make change, she came there to fight. But slowly, she actually started agreeing with the revolution. And she realized that, just being a mere footsoldier wasn't gonna help them in the long run. She started studying more things, became more elegant, demure, smarter. And when she first took on Artificing? It was like she regained a missing limb. But... she could never compare to the noble brats that were raised with their highest educational level. So, she made a deal with the devil. And the devil left its mark on her eye. Her left eye now glows a purple, dark flame. When it came time for the final showdown, her gadgets became a cornerstone for overthrowing the Ordever family. Her gadgets claimed hundreds of souls, all now in the grasps of the devil she made a deal with. No heaven, no redemption, no reincarnation. It all went to the devil. When the revolution was over, and they'd won, she was satisfied. Sure, the Ordever were still considered the strongest mage family, but atleast they weren't oppressors anymore. She started training Edaci when she heard she was gonna become an artificer due to believing she had too much potential to stay in the Ordever family. Edaci will NEVER be better than Pierre, unless Pierre dies.
