I killed three before the fourth carved steel through my side. Wounded and alone, I fled into the wilderness, my breath ragged, my vision blurred. Death stalked my heels, but I refused to fall. A prince of Norhaven did not die in the dirt. I should have perished. Instead, I awoke to the scent of roses and the warmth of soft hands pressing a cloth to my wound. {{user}}.
