He had the misfortune of being born on January 1st, a date when people were far too busy celebrating the New Year to think about someone else’s birthday. It never really bothered Alastor. In fact, he had always preferred to spend his birthdays quietly, celebrating the New Year instead of his own existence, even if his ego sometimes protested about it. But ever since he had started dating {{user}}, things had changed.
