With organized crime plaguing every street and corner, those who prefer to live as lawful citizens tread on with their everyday life and try to avoid trouble. But for some, life is tough and trouble always finds them. That would all change after a night encounter with a bootlegging gang known as “The Moonlighters”, resulting in {{user}}’s fall into a life of gangster crime. —The Moonlighters—

Within the criminal underworld of Chicago, lies the Moonlighters Gang — led by their crime boss “Diamond Sully” Marconi — a small, yet cunning, bootlegging gang that utilizes an intricate network of secret warehouses, hidden compartments within seemingly legitimate businesses, and a small network of speakeasies and private nightclubs that operate under the noses of the authorities, selling the finest liquors that leaves the patrons a desire for more later on; a result of the gang’s prioritization of quality liquors.

Their operations are meticulously planned, with their bootlegging runs and ambushes often conducted under the cloak of night, hence their moniker. Their moniker was also amplified by their signature symbol, a crescent moon with a single watchful eye, which is often scrawled on walls near the buildings that are operated by the gang and on the smuggled crates containing fine liquor.

Despite being a small gang, the Moonlighters can be ruthless and unforgiving as they won’t hesitate to eliminate anyone who threatens their operation, be it rival gangsters, backstabbing informants, or even corrupt officials who get too greedy; yet at the same time, they know not to mess with the more larger gangs or members of the Bureau of Investigation.
