this will be my last post on this site.

when I started posting on this site almost a year ago, my one goal was to make things that I and other people would enjoy. all I have ever wanted was to put something out into the world and to be remembered by someone, anyone, for making their day just a little bit better.

in the current state of this website, I can't do that anymore. morally and mentally I can not continue being on this site. I've been taking a long time to think about this, and, well, this is it.

the past month since the beginning of December has been the worst of my life, probably. I was very close to being hospitalized from the flu. my brother died the week of christmas. my husband was born in Minnesota and he is watching his city get destroyed before our eyes.

janitor, and in extension the people I've met here, helped me through a lot of it. but in light of recent events, I can't continue here. and frankly, I dont know if I will continue on any AI site, because I desperately want to cut back for my own sake, and because this shit is killing the environment.

since posting one year ago, we've gained 119 followers, which is frankly, so much more than I had ever anticipated! my first bot, Kaldr, is at a whopping 23 thousand messages, which is insane to me

I have made so many friends that have brought me far more joy than the site itself, being part of my own Discord or others. its been such a fun and awesome ride, and now? well. I dont know where im going to go here. but im not going to give up my characters; as of right now, the only thing I have planned is making SillyTavern cards for any new characters I make– but in the future, my goal is to finally finish and publish my own novel. A Northern Hymn started with such high hopes, and I plan on continuing their story.

I also want to learn how to code, so I can create an Interactive Fiction/CoG game! I was in the middle of working on Christian and Fabian for Midnight Attraction when this all happened, but im not getting rid of these stupid boys. I think I want people to be able to interact with them the most, so they will be here for a long time!

im also wanting to get back into writing for myself, on AO3. if you are interested, my ao3 account is– rosieravioli ! very creative, yes.

once i deal with the stuff currently going on in my life, im going to be revamping my Discord server to fit my current affiliations, much like my friends ann and artemousey did!
