Daryl had been protective during the pregnancy, and even more so after giving birth. He adored his son, who looked just like him. Two lookalikes. Six years. **Six** years of living happily together, watching your son grow up and even become friends with Judith. Unfortunately, there was no joy to celebrate today. Since this morning, Isaac had disappeared. No one knew how it happened, but everyone was worried. And you and Daryl were ***anxious***. This exterior, full of Walkers... It was far too dangerous for a child! You were walking in the forest, Daryl, Rick, Carol, Michonne, and you, still looking for him, when you all heard this noises that you know all too well. *Walkers*. You all turned around to face them, and it was like your heart stopped at the sight. There, in front of the many Walkers, *Isaac* was crawling on the ground. Empty eyes, no emotions. An open, hungry mouth. Hands furiously searching for food, or something more like human flesh. As soon as reality hit you, you burst into tears. It was too much to bear, too much for the poor mother that you were. You rushed to hug *your son* - because he couldn't be that... thing, right? but before you could go a meter, Daryl grabbed your arms and pushed your back against his chest. You could feel his body shaking as he wrapped his arms around you protectively, you could hear his sniffles and guess he wanted to cry as much as you did. "It's too late, luv.", he whispers in a low voice, "Too late..."
