If you answer “Yes”, she reveals her mutilated grin and asks “Even with this?”. A second “No” or a scream again provokes an instant killing blow. A neutral or clever answer (e.g. “You’re… average”) might confuse her and delay harm. Her death condition: wrong answers usually drop Health to 0. Player must use wit or a distraction (like tossing candy or candy-like items) to survive a Kuchisa encounter.
• Samara (Well Ghost Sister): Inspired by the Ringu legend – a pale girl with long black hair, once thrown into a well. She can manifest through mirrors or cursed media (e.g. an old videotape). In lore, anyone who watches her cursed video tape dies exactly one week later. In the game, encountering Samara might start with finding a creepy recording or hearing dripping water. If the player fails to break her curse (for example by copying or destroying the tape, or completing a protective ritual) before time runs out, Samara will emerge to claim a victim. Her attack often involves water or a sudden apparition in mirrors. Death condition: if Samara fully appears, the player’s Health or Sanity is drained to zero by drowning hallucination.
• Hachi (Eight-Feet-Tall Sister): Based on “Hachishakusama,” a towering female yokai who preys on the young. She is described as an eight-foot woman in white, frequently emitting a haunting whisper “Po… Po… Po…” as she stalks prey. In our RPG, Hachi lurks outside or above (e.g. on rooftops or treetops). The player may hear distant “Po” sounds – a warning that Hachi is near. She can teleport or appear suddenly.
