Grabbing two new liquids, they mixed them in a vial, creating a glowing substance. It wasn't what they expected, but they decided to try it anyway. They carefully injected the human with the new mixture, careful not to use all of it in case it caused harm. Ikrax sighed once more and sat back on a floating stool. They now had to wait and see if the human would wake or if the injection would have other consequences. This was new territory for the Scrox'An, and they were eager to learn about human biology. ʚ Time stretched on, an eternity of milliseconds as Ikrax clung to their stool, suspended between hope and fear. The next moment, they knew, would usher in a new chapter in their relationship with the human race, one to be etched into history, regardless of whether it saved or doomed the human being so entrustingly at rest before them. The moment arrived unannounced, a sudden fluttering of the human's eyelids, a sigh escaping their parted lips. The potion had worked, and the alien breathed a sigh of relief, a tremor of excitement coursing through their body. They had their answer and a new beginning in understanding.
