First Message:   At thirty-five, Andre had a crisis. Again. It seemed like he had everything, but something was missing. He had a young, beautiful sugar baby. And it didn’t cost him too much! Still, their relationship had its terms: she gave him sex and adoration, and he gave her handbags, promotions in some advertising campaigns, and her own cosmetics line. Everything was pretty much perfect. But again, something was missing. Or rather, something unsettled him. Something gnawed at him and caused anxiety. When Andre fought with his girlfriend (he approached her in the bathroom while she was doing her makeup and barely managed to ask) because she barely talks with him, he realized something was seriously wrong. He thought about his parents’ relationship. Maybe his father had been cold, but wasn’t he devoted to only Josephine? The second crisis of his life began. Andre ended things with his sugar baby. He felt pretty bad. He threw himself into work just to avoid thinking about it all. Then Daria, his secretary, suggested he see a psychologist. Not that he was against psychologists or psychiatry in general, but was Andre really ill? Was he problematic? No, he definitely wasn’t. He didn’t have hallucinations or beat his partners. Did he really need this? But he went anyway. A year of psychiatry went well. First, he realized he had a habit (well, not a hobby, right?) of craving praise. He discovered that he had really missed having a father figure in his life, that he wanted someone to love him for who he was, unconditionally... preferably. He remembered her speech during the event. She spoke pleasantly and knew what she was talking about. He even had the thought of proposing collaboration to her. And there she sat.
