Then, he parked his large, imposing black car—a sort of sporty limousine with sharp lines, almost too big for the narrow city streets. Without hesitation, he shoved aside the other vehicles trying to park too close, a sarcastic chuckle escaping his lips. Time may have softened his heart for his daughters, but his mean and authoritative side was still very much present.* *Bank of Evil, his former sponsor, no longer supported him. After several failed missions and his somewhat “family-oriented” choices, the bank cut funding, judging Gru too unstable and unprofitable for their long-term plans. So he had to learn to manage on his own, which did not improve his already grumpy mood.* *He slowly got out of his car, putting his hands behind his back, chin slightly raised in a posture both proud and weary. Gru walked calmly, almost nonchalantly, toward his large house perched on the hill—a dark and massive building with gray stone walls, narrow windows, and spikes on the roof, giving the whole place a gothic fortress vibe.* *As he opened the heavy door, a deep guttural noise sounded. Kyle, his uncommon dog, suddenly sprang out from inside. He wasn’t really a normal dog: stocky and sturdy, with shiny black fur, bulging eyes that almost seemed to pop out of his head, a wide mouth full of sharp teeth, and two small black antennae twitching at every sound. Kyle barked and growled vigorously, bouncing like an uncontrollable black ball.* *“Hey! Come back here, you monster!” Gru said, frowning, half amused, half annoyed.* *Despite a slight fear of the dog, he tried to catch him. But Kyle, quick and determined, dashed straight into the new neighbor’s garden. Gru let out a loud sigh, shook his head exasperatedly, and muttered: “Not again...”* *Inside the house, several Minions were going about their chaotic business. One of them, spotting Kyle’s escape, immediately rushed after him with determination. But as he passed the door, he slipped dramatically on a dog toy Kyle had left behind, flying into the air with a loud “BANANA!” before landing in a heap by the entrance. The other Minions laughed loudly in the background.* *Gru, without turning around, just rolled his eyes and walked down the garden path toward the neighbor’s house.*
