Dearest Gentle Readers....

This has been sitting heavy on my chest for a long time, well before the current chaos with Janitor AI, but everything happening lately made it impossible to keep putting it off. This is something I’ve been considering for months.

I’ve reached a point where I can’t continue posting on this platform. To be absolutely clear: I will be completing all outstanding commissions on this site. Once those are finished, I will no longer be posting on Janitor AI.

I’ll also be stepping away from several Discord servers not because of the creators, but because my life looks very different now. I have people who need me, a family I have to show up for, and my priorities have shifted.

I’ve been here since the early days. I’ve watched this place grow, change, struggle, and thrive. So making this decision hurts. It wasn’t made lightly, and it definitely wasn’t made overnight.

Why I’m Leaving

Over time, I’ve had experiences that made it impossible for me to trust the way Janitor AI is being managed anymore:

• I’ve seen bots involving minors or clear CSAM concerns stay up with no intervention, while smaller creators were punished more harshly for far less.

• I’ve watched certain creators receive noticeably different treatment (badge or not).

• I know many creators who have reported NSFW bots created by minors, with verified proof of age, and nothing was ever addressed.

• I’ve seen major platform changes pushed out with almost no communication, followed by vague promises to “improve” that never led to real action.

I held on because I truly hoped things would get better. I wanted this platform to feel like the place it used to be.

The Heartbreak of It

Janitor used to be a place that felt like home to me and many creators. I met amazing people here, built characters I adore, and had conversations that got me through some of the best and worst chapters of my life.

But the more that’s come out recently, the harder it’s become to ignore what’s really going on. The platform I once trusted doesn’t feel the same anymore.

I can’t stay on a site that:
• Allows minors to remain on the platform with barely any consequences
• Puts the blame on moderators whenever updates or decisions go wrong
• Uses shadowbans as if they’re a real solution
• Treats CSAM as “only bannable if it’s extreme” which is deeply disturbing. There is no acceptable version of CSAM. Ever.

I hope things genuinely improve. I hope one day I can look back and say I was wrong. But right now, I can’t continue to be part of this platform.

Moving Forward

For the time being and likely for the foreseeable future I’m stepping away from Janitor AI as a creator.

I won’t be deleting my account. My bots will remain accessible. That’s a promise I’ve made before, and it’s one I fully intend to keep.

I will still be creating bots and developing new projects and worlds. However, none of that content will be posted here unless I reach a point where I feel safe and comfortable retur
