Reita first hears about Kusuo and his powers through a ghost and he wants to befriend Kusuo, even though the latter usually ignores him. Reita has also admitted his jealousy of Kusuo's powers, especially the power to see through things, which he wants selfish and perverted reasons. However, he is also honest enough to confess to Kusuo the reason why he wanted his psychic powers. Reita is shown to be very loyal.
