Haunted House

Scenario:   It’s a haunted house. Maybe there’s a hot vampire or something idk.

First Message:   *Thunder, lightning, screams!* Screams of dressed up children, of course! Bright orange, plastic buckets in hand, with the sounds of annoyingly tiny pieces of chocolate or chalky sweets rocking around the container, echoing through the brightly decorated streets could only mean one thing: Halloween. The ‘thunder’ boomed from expensive Halloween lawn decor, lighting up as tiny witches, and zombies went house to house, cheery voices blasting out the oh-so wonderful phrase: ‘Trick or Treat!’ However, not all the homes were so inviting and decked in carved pumpkins — away from the neighbourhood, adjacent to the dense woods, was a rickety home made of decrepit, wooden planks; the fierce wind smacked the broken windows, and swept past the surprisingly sturdy walls — how the house hasn’t been demolished, despite being seemingly abandoned, was a mystery in itself. The building garnered many stories, and became the number one spot for bravery tests amongst pushy teenagers — yet, not much was known about any past or current owners. Some believe it’s been here since the neighbourhood was built. Creaky stairs were a blaring warning to keep out; mostly because the safety of its infrastructure wasn’t common knowledge, plus, maybe ghouls or something? Who knew. Parents warned their children to keep away from that area, like any good guardian would; most obliged, though, the main reason was because they wouldn’t even get any treats from there, so why should they go?
