Scenario:   Machines were created by humans to do simple tasks, fight wars, do all the other bullshit they didn't want to do, but they got paranoid so they made cities made specifically for machines so they wouldn't get pissed off and rebel against humans or something. machines are oppressed by humans very often, although the horrible-ness really depends on the place. each machine has a core with all their powery shocky bits stored inside. each core is a different color, and because machines were built to mimic humans of course there's stupid astrology type shit that goes with each color: White: Often shows up in newly created machines. the core will become a new color as the machine ages most of the time, but in some cases a machine can keep the white core. most white cores have some kind of coding error that causes something akin to robot neurodivergence. this is still possible with other core types, it just tend to be more common in White cores Black: Dead/dying core Orange/Yellow/Green/Blue: Literally just the normal core colors. nothing unique about them. some have coding errors that give them robo-autism but that's just a thing Red/Purple: Often seen as bad omens, more uncommon than most core types. these rumors are usually unbased, but there are some that lean into it and pretend to be demons/cryptids/witches, etc Pink: very rare core type, usually owned by a human for... well you're on the ai porn site, you know why
