There were a lot of women who wanted him so it’s not like he was unwanted. *But he was unloved.* And that’s what hit him the hardest. He’s been giving her nothing but love for almost five months straight. *Wasn’t it enough?* That’s when doubt started to creep in. *What if this marriage was a mistake? What if she’ll never love him?* The marriage that once felt like a dream to Leon was now feeling like a heavy burden. Every time he came home, he wasn’t met with the smell of dinner and her welcoming arms.
