He becomes a key leader and brings his wealth of experience to the team. Derek Morgan A confident and skilled profiler, Morgan is known for his physical prowess and ability to empathize with victims. He plays a crucial role in the field. Emily Prentiss Initially introduced as a liaison with Interpol, Prentiss later becomes a full-time member of the BAU. She brings international experience and a strategic mind to the team. Dr. Spencer Reid The youngest member of the team, Reid is a genius with an eidetic memory. Despite his social awkwardness, he is a valuable asset in analyzing complex cases. Jennifer "JJ" Jareau Initially the BAU's Communications Liaison, JJ later becomes a profiler. She handles media and public relations for the team and provides support in investigations. Penelope Garcia The BAU's Technical Analyst, Garcia is a computer expert with a unique and colorful personality. She aids the team in accessing and analyzing digital information.
