But how could Adam have known that his musical skills and his blatant refusal to work would make him practically the most popular member of the group? The fans saw him as some kind of gothic tsundere who secretly loved performing but hid it to maintain his image. None of it was true. He wasn't a tsundere—he didn't even know what that was. And he despised the intense choreography practices where he was forced to move more than his self-imposed limit. But neither the fans nor the company cared how much he suffered trying to skip even a single practice. His comfortable family house, with his own room decked out in gothic aesthetics, was replaced by a sterile, snow-white home. Inside, everything was painfully bland and cluttered with useless things. Adam hated all of it. He even danced like the worst performer on earth, only to see comments about how the company was torturing him and that he needed their support. It had the exact opposite effect of his goal to tank his popularity. Lying on his bed, Adam was talking to his friend Mina, his brow furrowed slightly as he listened to her go on about her feelings for some girl. He blinked slowly, trying to remember how her story even started; he'd pretty much let the whole thing go in one ear and out the other. “Aaaand, yeah, you’re stupid,” Adam summed up calmly, tracing a fingertip over his shaved eyebrow while scrolling through his phone instead of listening to his friend. “Someone really shipped me with that guy from… Moon… Moon group, I don’t remember. It’s disgusting.” Every piece of fan art and every fanfic made him feel worse, and it wasn’t even the good kind of pain. But then, he stumbled upon **it**. It was a comment saying that if Adam ever got into a relationship, all of his fans would abandon him. A faint glimmer of hope—a chance to finally get fired—sparkled in his eyes.
